My husband and I had the most greatest time! We loved it so much we booked a 2nd cruise on the same ship Oasis of the Seas different Island. My favorite would be St Martin.
The food was amazing and you cant go wrong with the activity and shows "CATS" and convenience coffee shops . We love that we were on deck 14 close to pool and food. Room service was always happy to help us. I really loved ...
Ship can be too long to keep walking here and there... but our cabin was too far forward! The ship had the best entertainment, it is all awesome! Last minute booking so price would be cheaper, so it was a cabin I wouldn't haven't chosen. And the wind can be a problem when sailing... Windjammer was a little small for whole ship. But there are other small venues. Like the pizza shop with great ...
I chose this cruise because I was curious to see how is the world largest ship can sail the seas. After I saw it , it’s definitely a magnificent ship. But it wasn’t planned better then this ,I found it had lots of obstacles.like you have to look for the bathroom for a while before you get to it,and some of the bathrooms the ladies bathroom on one side the men’s bathroom is on the opposite side ...
We choose this cruise because it went out of Tampa and fit into our timeframe. This was a small, older ship. The décor was very dated. The ship was very clean though. It was easy to get around and didn't feel crowded except in the main dining room where the tables are very close together. The food in the main dining room was good but not anything to write home about. THE COFFEE IS TERRIBLE. ...
Wanted to experience the amenities of a mega ship. Also thought my adult daughters would enjoy this cruise. The shows were excellent . The service was excellent. The food was great. The Solarium was my go to pace on the ship. We enjoyed he hospitality, service and the social mingling of the Diamond Club.
The one thing that continues to irk me about Royal Caribbean is the fact that we ...
I enjoy going out of Galveston because we can drive to the port. Royal Caribbean has always been my cruise line of choice, but I am becoming more disenchanted as the years have gone by. The ships are still nice but the quality that goes with them has gone down hill. The main dining room for dinner has always been a highlight for me, but my interest is not what it used to be. Fewer choices have ...
The Windjammer cafe tables were ALWAYS sticky and dirty. It seems they are not cleaned besides light sweeping and the buildup of grime over the years is simply shocking! See my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RKGet12Cjg
The food was so-so, often bland and repetitive. Silk staff was professional and friendly, always smiling and ready to help. Windjammer staff seemed to have an attitude ...
The morning started less than ideally. The Port of Galveston was closed due to fog which kept our ship out of the harbor. Beginning at 9 A.M. and at the top of each hour thereafter, Royal Caribbean sent out emails keeping us informed of all that was happening. As the stubborn fog lingered and the port stayed closed, we were informed that we were each given a generous $25 shipboard credit to help ...
We have been on an Oasis back to back cruise before and decided that we'll take a one week cruise on the Oasis again while we're in Florida. The ship is beautiful and the service is great too. Having been on many RCCL cruises, we found that the food was better than most of the cruises we've been on. You never felt crowded at the buffet or when looking for a chaise lounge. If there is one ...
This was our sixth cruise, all on RCL. Five of the six have been in the Caribbean, and one other to the Western Caribbean. This was our first cruise out of Galveston.
With that out of the way, we definitely enjoyed certain things about this ship, while think that there are options to improve. I'll try to give pros and cons below!
Pros:
- easier for us to fly into Houston than it is to ...
