Repositioning cruise from Singapore to Sydney

We spent a wonderful week in Singapore before boarding for the Cruise to Australia so we were looking forward to the cruise home. Voyager was the first ship we ever sailed on with Royal Caribbean several years ago and we were anticipating a great cruise similar to our previous experience. Boarding in Singapore was a nightmare. Very slow, hot and some not very accommodating port staff, in fact, ...

Went on a 10 night crew from Singapore to Perth with family. Had read some negative comments before trip but I can not understand why. We loved it all!! Embarkment started at 10.45 am and was on board by 12.30pm. Very well organised. Had comfortable indoor air conditioned seating whilst waiting to move from checkpoint to checkpoint with water readily available. Our cabin was ready by ...

I have sailed with RCI for many year's, but would have to think very hard to select them again. Size of Balcony cabin small, and a very small balcony indeed. After a massive re-furb, I am not quite sure where they spent their money. Food was average, and very small menu, or selection My time dining was booked in advance and I had the confirmation from RCI with me, when we went to ...

Disappointing Cruise - RC appears to have lowered its standard

We had a lovely 5 night stay in Singapore exploring the city and enjoying the facilities of our hotel. Then we joined the Voyager........ Food and service was well below standard and Specialty Restaurants were from average to awful, having sent two meals back for bad quality and cooking. The Ship was very dirty throughout and in need of a total refurbishment. Our balcony cabin was quite spacious ...

i booked this cruise so we can see Singapore and being on Allure of the seas from fort lauderdale we thought it was going to be wonderful sailing with Voyager. Well it started off with long long waiting to embark and loosing our customs piece of paper but the staff helped us out. Once on board we entered with positive but then realized not as big as Allure but hey we knew that from the start. ...

We boarded in Singapore: the boarding process was a shambles. We waited for nearly three hours to board. When we finally got on board, the lifeboat drill was held on deck in steamy temperatures causing distress to some elderly guests, again so slow that we finally gave a slow handclap to the crew. The food was fine, the standard of entertainment very average with a couple of exceptions. The tender ...

We travel to Australia on a regular basis every year and wanted another way to get there. Some friends were booked on this cruise so we agreed to meet in Hong Kong and sail back to Australia together. The rest needs no further explanation than the letter I sent to their customer services, to which they replied Sorry, sorry, sorry sorry. Hot Food, improved menu experience,More relaxation ...

* We began our cruise in wonderful City of Hong Kong where we spent 4 wonderful days before our cruise. There was plenty to see and do with my family of three and 4 other couple making up a party of eleven. We undertook the get on get off bus tours around the city which took us to most parts of Hong Kong and out to the small and quaint village of Russell. Disneyland, the Peak, shopping, riding the ...

I chose this re positioning cruise because I wanted to sail up the eastern coast of Australia and the great barrier reef around Torres Is. It ended up at Singapore which is a place I've heard many positive things about. I must say I wasn't disappointed. The cruise and the service as well as the food and entertainment exceeded my expectations. Although some people have said the VOS is a bit ...

We have previously cruised with Royal Caribbean on 5 occasions over a 10 year period, two Caribbean, two transatlantic and one from Spain to Singapore. This cruise was an alternative form of travel from Australia to Europe, one leg via cruising and the second leg flying from Singapore to Europe. The ship was the oldest and smallest of the Royal Caribbean fleet we have sailed on and it was ...
