Poor quality food in dining room, obvious staff cut backs in all areas of the ship

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

Longer cruise than the usual 7-14 days, expected more bang for your buck as we are diamond plus but this voyage fell well short of the mark. We ate mostly in wind jammers as the main dining food was not up to standard, so menu repeated for the entire cruise and not a lot of anything decent to choose from. ( you could go to wind jammers and get the same food) without having to wait for slow ...

Quantum of the Seas from Brisbane to Alaska

We sailed from Brisbane to Alaska on the Quantum of the Seas. The staff as always were efficient, hard working and kind. The food, however was disappointing and certainly inferior to pre covid days. Poor quality cuts of meat were used, any chicken dish in the Windjammer was inedible as the chicken pieces were just grizzle and chewy, as were the stews, having fatty grizzled meat in them. The ...

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

A family of 3, including a 9 years old child, spent 11 days on board of Radiance of the Seas: 5 days with stops at various Hawaii islands, the rest at sea cruising back to the mainland (Vancouver). Original itinerary included 6 port-of-call days and 5 days at sea, but after collecting the full payment, RCI suddenly changed itinerary to 5 port days and 6 sea days. They offered no compensation ...

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Ovation of the Seas

I choose this cruise for Sydney and Polynesians Island. First I must tell you I am Celebrity guy. This is my second RC experience after the Harmony last January, I will maybe go back with RC but only on a very good deal. The quality of food is not at the level I expected. We got my time dining as usual, and after 2 diners , we asked to be changed for fix time dining at 8 hrs, the 2 my time dining ...

Ovation is a spectacular ship with friendly accommodating crew who work extremely hard and diligently, except for one crew member who managed to spoil our cruise experience for us to the extent that we are now canceling 3 more booked cruises aboard the same ship even though it means we will lose a $1200 non refundable deposit. We are so upset by our experience that we have chosen to lose our ...

The ship was nice. We have sailed on her Sister the Navigator and we love this class of ship. However the refit in areas wasn't so great. The entertainment was shockingly awful in the theater however the Ice show in Studio B was simply incredible! The cabin was fantastic I couldn't have asked for more and our steward was one of the nicest men you could ever wish to meet. The Dining was fantastic ...

Poor weather and Fiji islands stops were disappointing.

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

Wanted to visit S Pacific islands and Australia. Some poor weather; no one can help weather! but the RCL selection of Fiji islands that were visited caused this cruise to be just average. Ports showed more poverty than other islands and were somewhat disappointing. Other S Pacific Island stops offer more of what we envisioned would be the case for the S. Pacific. Tours to the local villages were ...

Upon Arrival of my room had to call cleaning staff since my toilette was filthy drawers full of Hair. Smallest inside cabin I ever had. Missed my self serve laundry since we where on a 21 day cruise. Never had to pay for Crafts activities on all my 8 cruises. Worst entertainment line up of all my cruises. If you like Trivia you will like since they have ALL DAY long... Nice area ...
