As a family of 7 we had 3 separate cabins with balcony. It was great to have the balcony rooms to experience the ship saying into towards the islands/locations we were visiting. The cabins were comfortable for sleeping. We could have done with more storage space for our 2 weeks work of clothes. Following a wonderful family trip across Europe we enjoyed a 13 day transatlantic cruise. I was very concerned that there might not be enough activities for my wife. Luckily the activities director was a non stop activity machine. The lovely Talita Leone taught Zumba and stretching and Brazilian dancing classes daily in the centrum and pool side. Fantastic.

The Vision of the Seas Officers, Cruise Staff and Crew were very friendly and highly visible. First time for RCL to go to Greenland. Plus Iceland and other ports.
Embarcation was fastest of any cruise we have been on. Very satisfied with all acpects of the ship. Weather prevented use of most outside facilities and activities.

Two years ago, we found ourselves cruising the Baltic on the Serenade. During that sailing, they began advertising for their fall crossing from Copenhagen to Boston. It looked intriguing, so we kept our eyes peeled for future crossings. Cut to 2017, and they released our itinerary with the addition of Greenland! Did back to back cruises from Copenhagen to Baltic and then across to Boston. Loved all the ports, they were all new to us except Stavanger. This was our second cruise with RCL. We chose the Jewel of the Seas because of the ports of call and it fitted best in our holiday planning. The embarkation and and disembarkation went very smoothly! It was impressive. We landed in San Juan at 10:30 and were on board eating lunch at 12. In Cicitavecchia/Rome our meeting time for disembarkation was 7:15 and we were at the airport at 08:50.
