One of the Best Royal Ships we experienced being new Diamond Members

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

As a New Diamond Member with Royal Caribbean and have done more then 42 Cruises with various companies. We are proud and pleased with the Enterainment on the Jewel of the seas. The " Fly On" acts i think were a lot more presentable and distinguished then the Ships production shows themselves. The Singers and dancers were probably the weakest then most ships. However the ship was BUSY! with tons ...

Transatlantic cruises are our favorite! We choose this cruise because date worked. Turns out it was one of our best cruises (30+ cruises). We flew to San Juan late on Saturday & stayed at airport hotel (very convenient), took taxi ($19 plus tip) and arrived at port around 11am. The port was chaos and porters rude. Demanded tip before they would take bag (this was only negative of our ...

Best transatlantic ever

RCCL offered a very attractive price for this cruise, and we were looking for a smaller ship (i.e., less than 3,000). The Jewel is not new, but it has been kept up well and the public rooms are all very nice and comfortable. The service was outstanding, starting with a very visible and friendly captain from Canada. Everything operated very efficiently and, if something was to our dissatisfaction, ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

We like transatlantic cruises. This was one of the finest. We made new friends, and fully relaxed with the activities provided. We especially enjoyed Charlotte and her watercolor classes, and the lectures on medicine. Cigar/cigarette smoke is highly offensive to me, and gives me migraines, and yet the casino was one of the freshest we ever experienced, as we occasionally passed through it. I did ...

We chose this cruise because it provided a way to get to Europe fairly economically when you consider all room and board and good food and entertainment and excellent childcare and programs included! We got to see many beautiful places on our cruise and had the option of taking paid for excursions or venturing out on our own. Excellent staff and service! We didn't want for anything! All of ...

We did the Miami to Southampton trans Atlantic cruise april 2018. The navigator is from 2002 and there are signs of aging but this did not affect our experience. We had an internal cabin and was very small but had everything we needed. A bed, a bathroom and plenty of space to hang our clothes. The bathroom was not very clean because there was some molt on the wall where it was impossible to clean. ...

DH and I had a wonderful transatlantic -our first! Navigator of the Seas is a beautiful ship. Food choices were good, lots of entertainment and things to do, and lots of relaxing while enjoying a week at sea before hitting the first port. We had a promenade cabin which allowed us to watch the parade and disco dancing from the comfort of our cabin. The cruise was a good value, catering to a middle ...

We always choose our cruises based on the itinerary and this cruise was no different. We liked the idea of a transatlantic for the relaxation, and were delighted to find that combines with access to 2 of our bucket list areas of the world - Normandy Beach and Flanders fields areas of the world. We took RC shore excursions to both areas. The Normandy beach tour was excellent and very moving, ...

It was all that we expected. Calm seas virtually all the way. Only a couple of days with choppy seas. Average age of passengers was high but it meant all activities was almost always available. We absolutely loved the sea days, made the trip with it. Loved seeing only ocean for 6 days. The itinerary was great. Enjoyed the various stops and sights along the way. It's great to see places one ...
