One of the better RCCL cruises; however, they keep cutting.

We did a transatlantic from Copenhagen to Boston. The ship was clean, cabin balcony cabin was comfortable. First time I saw a chair instead of a couch. The mattresses need changed but we managed. What they cut: no more lobster night, no more 90 minutes free internet for Diamond members- you get 24 hrs., What they did well: Employees seemed very pleasant especially our room attendant ...

joined cruise following "cruiser" friends ; very professional organization , clean state-rooms (Yerri) and entire ship ; dining room staff - excellent (IVAN , Benjamin and Bhandarri) ; excellent food and staff; shows could be better (artists) though the orchestra was excellent ; the enrichment lectures (Alan Fischer) were very good ; Halifax was a bit disappointing and also Christansand was not ...

Never did transatlantic or visited any of the countries before. The majority of shows were very good, particularly Stephanie Parker,Joe West,Joel.??,Abba tribute, and the ships Dancers and singers (although one of the male singers was replaced by a dancer who mimed for the second show they did) and the orchestra were very good as always. The cruise director was, unfortunately,on an ego trip. His show ...

We had seen all the reviews of the Serenade of the Seas before we went on the cruise and were very surprised by the ship. It was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were friendly and very attentive. We had suite 8036 which was near the rear of the ship. It was comfortable and very quite. The entertainment was excellent and their was plenty of activities to keep busy on an Atlantic ...

Trans-Atlantic through the Arctic Circle

Chose this cruise as the ports of call were on our list of locations we wanted to visit. We found the excursions were overpriced through the cruise ship and could be obtained for significantly less in the locations themselves. We also found that the dining room experience has dropped in its attractiveness as the food in the main dining room and the buffet area was good but not up to the standard ...

I have to preface this review by saying the crew did an excellent job. Very friendly, courteous and did very well with what they had to work with. We have cruised several times with other cruise lines such as Princess and Norwegian. Multiple times with Princess. The cruise itinerary included Norway, Iceland, Halifax and ending in Boston. After Iceland there was a 5 day at sea schedule that ...

Repositioning cruise with a great itinerary

We chose this cruise for the wonderful itinerary. Our 4 day stay in Copenhagen before boarding was great and we would love to go there again. Tip for visitors: museums are closed on Mondays. Getting on the ship was an ordeal with lines snaking out the doors and people jumping lines and long waits of over an hour to check in. The ship is lovely, well maintained and crew really worked hard to ...

Because 3 of us 4 were diabetics we need to eat at the same time each evening. We were told that our time would be 8:30. Unacceptable to us. We finally had to go to Customer service to get it changed., We spent the first evening eating at the buffet on Deck 9-not good. When we finally got a dining time we found that the food was just barely warm and not that good. We did love being served and our ...

Chose this trip because of itinerary & even though we booked 14 months in advance we weren't able to get outside cabin. In general trip was great. Ports were really nice, with beautiful scenery. We generally travel on Celebrity but really enjoyed & appreciated the crew for their service and helpfulness. We do our own excursions so I cannot assess the ship's excursions, but I will say that ...

We chose the cruise because of the great destinations and cruise price. The ports of call and total price did not disappoint. We were very fortunate to interact with outstanding staff throughout the ship. We started in Copenhagen and on to Norway, Scotland, Iceland, Newfoundland and landed in New Jersey. The embarkation in Denmark was very smooth and disembarkation in NJ was easier that ...
