Embarkation in Sydney and ports of call on tenders in Vanuatu was a breeze on this ship. Bravo to the crew, as this sailing was very full. We were in an ocean view cabin on the 7th deck. We chose this cruise so that my daughter and granddaughter could join us. We had separate cabins but next to one another. We were able to have the balcony barrier between the cabins removed which made it like adjoining cabins.

Voyager of the seas refurbishment.
Johnny rockets & the large spa in the gym had been removed & replaced with suites. Great for RCL but not so great for customers who cannot afford a suite.

We wanted to go Ovation to try it and compare. We have been RCI since 2010 and are Diamond (80 pts) later this year. Maybe. We are Platinum with Princess. We first cruised though in 1970-72.
I think reviews need to have
1) a valid comparison with other ships &
2) whether they write as a family/kids, Teens or older.......... like us.
