Serenade of the seas
We chose this cruise liner because we wanted to visit the Baltics in Scandinavia
We travelled 4 hour journey to Heathrow terminal 5 arriving at midnight in Stockholm which left very little time to look around the city.
We had no information or details provide as to what time Royal Caribbean that would be picking us up for transfer to the cruise liner. Grand ...
We chose this cruise because the timing fit into our schedule, the price was right, and we enjoyed the Baltic area on a previous cruise. We had been to all but three of the scheduled ports.
We live in the south of the U.S., so the cool temperature (highs rarely exceeding 72 degrees) felt refreshing. The weather was decent; we only had rain a couple of days.
Unfortunately, we had to abort our ...
I chose this cruise because of the itinerary. I prefer the mid-size and the Serenade was perfect. We flew to Stockholm 3 days before our cruise to explore this wonderful city. Embarkation went very smoothly as well as disembarkation.
Our ports of call after Stockholm were, Tallinn, Estonia, 3 days in St. Petersburg, Russia, Helsinki, Finland. Unfortunately we had to skip Riga, Latvia ...
I chose this cruise for the cruise line and the destinations. The ship is a little dated but nice. the cabin was a little dated, refrigerator didn't work.. The dining in assigned time was "boring", the Windjammer was a 4 out of 5. The entertainment was fantastic. Service of the staff was very good. Best stateroom attendant we've ever had.Ports and shore excursions were good, and had some good ...
St. Petersburg has been on our bucket list for years, and now we got the opportunity to see the great city. It was really a fantastic experience. Booked a 2 days tour with Alla Tours, and had the most knowledgeable guide in Alexander. He really made our tour perfect. I'm more than happy to recommend this tour operator to furture cruise guests. And when the departure port is 1 hour by plane from ...
The ports on this cruise are the reason I chose it. Two days in St. Petersburg Russia! One great thing about the Serenade of the Seas is the Windjammer Buffet has outside seating. We were really lucky and had great weather. I overheard the crew say one day was the warmest they have had all Summer in the Baltic. It was a great cruise with wonderful ports. I found the souvenirs in the shops ...
We went with our adult children and grandchildren. The teens were especially interested in this area and so the itinerary was the deciding factor with a date that all could make. We were generally happy with the cruise but felt that we have had better food and more accurate information from other lines. For example, no maps were available for Latvia. Guest services told us to go to outside vendors ...
There were four of my family members who took this cruise. We were enticed by the ports. The makeup of the passengers included passengers from over 50 countries making for an international experience. We chose dining at "My Time" . Our waiters were friendly and timely. The daily menu in the main dining room changed daily with a selection of popular food items being offered daily. The crew ...
A very interesting experience. There is always activities going on, food to be eaten and interesting ports to visit.
The cruise started in Stockholm, followed by Helsinki, Saint Petersburg, Tallin and Riga before heading back to Stockholm. It's very nice to just be on board and relax. Besides testing all of the activities i got the chance to run around as a cat on board and entertain everyone ...
We just returned last night from a wonderful visit to some excellent ports. We chose this itinerary because it stayed overnight in St Petersburg and included Riga. Every port was charming, and St. Petersburg is definitely worth the two days.
Helsinki - we took an overall city tour through RC. Good information and time for shopping. We chose to return with the bus, but could have stayed ...
