We chose this cruise not for the ship but for the destination. Had to travel 3.5 hours from our home to Fort Lauderdale and we were nervous wrecks by the time we got there. Park & Go was GREAT! Extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly suggest using them if you need to park your vehicle. Check in was awesome. Took no time at all and we were onboard. First snafu: we requested a handicap ...

I liked the iteniery of this cruise the time was perfect for my husband and I. The length of this cruise was fantastic. We met wonderful people and made friends. The food was nothing to write home about. Mealtimes was nothing to look forward to for me. The entertainment was wonderful. I wish that the movie "wonder" was shown more on this trip. They should have seen that all the shows were full ...

New ports of call .....Loved all 5.Could not compare them .Dining was great. For breakfast we tried the park cafe which opened earlier and we tried the windjammer, the main dining, and room service. All were great with no complaints. We only snacked for lunch if that but dinner was always the main dining which was great in every way.My favorite appetizer was the coconut shrimp. And my hubby was happy ...

11 day cruise to some ports that we haven't been to before. Really good food and service. Better attention needs to be given to poolside so people don't reserve and hold all the chairs hostage. The prices for alcohol beverages and pop are outrageous. One thing I didn't appreciate, was being told at the art gallery that I couldn't afford the painting that I was looking at. Whether or ...

Such a great time, staff was amazing with us and our 2 kids, always had a smile and remembered names which made us feel welcome! Food was excellent, lots of choices, kids program amazing...kept my oldest occupied with waterslide races, scavenger hunts and tons of family activities....kids pool was great as there weren't a ton of kids on board so wasn't crowded but more pool options would be ...

Great service by staff & good ports, but disappointed with several features

Chose the itinerary, the date, and the intermediate ship size was what we wanted. All of the onboard staff were excellent, and we were made to feel like we were their valued guests. Several negatives however. The food choices at the dinners were limited with many items repeated on the daily menus. The food that was served was subpar. The salads were skimpy. The prime rib was dry and tough, ...

We are loyal to RCI, and picked this due to time of year and ports and glad with our decisions... Love this size ship, the Jewel was perfect, we had a Jr Suite - good size and attendant was very good, we did the BOGO, so Chops and Giavonnis - both outstanding! Windjammer - ideal for what it serves breakfast or lunch even one time dinner - we never do dinner, but dinner at the back of ...

We chose this cruise for the price and it fit our calendar. We were very disappointed in the food. It was the same thing, every single day. Some of the food was very good but some very monotonous and some downright bad. The shore excursions were fun. We loved interacting with the locals and loved spending personal time in the local settings by exploring and trying local food and flavors. ...

Like the ports; the weqther is usually nice in the southern caribbean and this time did not disappoint. Food was good. selection could have included more soups (chilled) at dinner. Great to have onion soup and escargots on the menu frequently. Children were very disruptive at dinner and the parents did nothing about it. after the second night, we asked to be moved because of a child ...

I read several reviews that were not that great. Me and my wife both absolutely loved this ship and itenirary! I would recommend doing at least some type of excursion in every port that you are able. The port areas are not the greatest but you have to remember that’s not what you came for. We had stops in st Thomas st kitts Antigua an Barbados. We took the reef riders excursion in Antigua and the ...
