This cruise was in no way worth the cost! The food was at best average, including at Chops Grill & Giovani’s, the entertainment was completely lame, the nightclub was not in use for most of the trip, except for a couple of lame late night brief events.
Given that there is only one stop on the trip and most of the time spent is onboard and at sea these factors were major factors in our ...
We were strictly Royal Caribbean travelers until this cruise. When we got on the boat, we were not even acknowledged, even though 2 boat employees were standing on either side of the door. No smile, no welcome. Just look at us. When we got on the elevator, as soon as I looked at the floors, it looked old and dirty. A far cry from the protocols they were taking during COVID. It's like they ...
Went for a New Years cruise with extended family. Chose this ship because it included New Year in its intinary. First impressions were pretty good , but everything on thr ship is so expensive and the service just doesnt match other cruise lines. I upgraded to a Junior Suite but didnt get te cabin dservice I expected. I tipped early thinking that I would receive a good cabin service but found this ...
This was a New Years cruise. New years eve is the premium day of the premium cruise of the year. I would be ashamed to put out the dining room menu that was offered. You can look it up for yourself. You could have done as well in any diner. The service however was impeccable as if they were trying to cover up for a lousy product. At the current rate of decline, I would not be surprised to see ...
This year we decided to take a Christmas cruise with our family and Oasis of the Seas seemed a good choice, but what a let down! As a diamond member I've cruised more than 15 times with RCL and never expected this regression, it seemed a Carnival Cruise but more expensive. At dinner you could barely move between tables since the ship had more than 6700 passengers and tables were added to fit all ...
My wife, son and I were spending Christmas with my daughter, son in law and granddaughter who live in California. We decided to do a short 4 day cruise from long beach to Mexico and back as a taster for my son in law who has never cruised before.
Embarkation was average, taking 30-45 minutes. Part of the process was the mandatory safety briefing which consisted of us visiting the 3 lifeboat ...
Quite literally the worst vacation I have been on. Our balcony door didn’t seal correctly and it took until the second night of the cruise for them to repair it correctly and stop the whistling. Their initial fix was to put tape over the seal which rendered the balcony useless. This was a non started since my wife gets sea sick on the first day of a sail and the fresh air from the balcony helps. ...
We have taken several cruises but this was the first time with Royal Caribbean and a lot of our friends had a lot of good things to say about Royal however it was not the case for us. We did a quick 4 night cruise out of Galveston.
We went in December which was also a first we typically go in summer. I can say Royal has the embarking and disembarking process down pack. It took us ~10min ...
The customer service was not up to par. I had to wait many, many days to get my bedding changed. I went to eat at “The great Gatsby” I ordered well done beef. I received rare meat. My room attendant made “mini towel animals” with the previously used hand towels that I use on my face & placed them on the foot of my bed. The smell on the ship was very unpleasant at times. My family & I went to eat ...
The cruise was recommended by family. The countries of this cruise is where my family members live and it was the perfect choice to visit them. As for the service and condition of the ship Royal Caribbean, the vessel seem to be an older model. The smell of sewer in the living areas were unhealthy. Being in such closed spaces this can aid the spread of Covid and other respiratory conditions. The ...
