The whole time we were on board we were bombarded with the benefits of using Royal Caribbean’s excursions. We were ‘Blackmailed’ into using their excursions by being told we could not get off the boat in time to see the Seoulunless we used heir transport which was proven to be wrong once we docked, some people even cancelled pre-booked trips on the strength of what we were told. It cost 65$ each ...

MEGA ships are too large

The ship is too big. I have sailed about 26 times on Celebrity and 3 times on Royal Caribbean. It took us WAY too long to embark. It was unorganized and mismanaged. We have a balcony cabin. First, we always have room service for breakfast. Now they will charge $8, so I guess we have to get dressed, etc. and go to breakfast rather than relaxing in our cabin if you want anything more ...

This was our first cruise with RCC, although we have more than 30 cruises under our belt, mostly with Princess, HAL and Viking Ocean Cruises. We chose this sailing for the itinerary: Singapore to Barcelona 28 days total. Our cabin was a balcony 9th floor. First the Good: Excellent crew!! The BEST we have encountered; everyone was pleasant and polite (one exception below). Even the Customer ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. Absolutely no entertainment on this ship. There where to many pinnacle members on board so between 4and 8 you could not get a seat in a bar. The elevators did not work very good. The food was acceptable at best with no imagination one person told me the beef tasted like the locket was still on it. The food in the windjammer was often mislabeled ...

Just returned from a fantastic holiday to Singapore Bali & dubai organized by Imagine Cruising the only problem was the holiday included a short 3 day cruise from Singapore to Malaysia. I wish we could have missed the cruIse out of the itinerary. The cabin was small & out dated even though it was supposed to be one of the better ones on the tenth deck. The worst part was the breakfast , the ...

5 day cruise ex Singapore April 2018, first appearance of the ship was great ,very large areas plenty of room Okay food , ticked all the box's. By day 2 you could feel the staff were over worked as the ship was quiet full , all restaurants that are free dinning had the same menu reason given was that the ship had far to many passengers therefore they decided to have the exact same menu, which was ...

I have sailed on this ship 3 times and her sister Quantam of the seas. But this time it was below average. On the past cruises each of the comp restaurants served different food, Silk was oriental food, American Icon Steak and ribs etc and Grande ever served Surf and Turf. NOT any more, all 4 places serve the same food. Now if you want lobster tail you pay $35. I think RC are trying to make you ...

Will Not Sail with Royal Caribbean again

Chose this cruise for its repositioning itinerary. Prior to this cruise, the ship had been on short (3-4 day) gambling junkets out of Singapore targeted at Chinese passengers. Senior staff appeared not to have adapted policies and procedures for a longer cruise (15-30 days). (Some food items ran out early; insufficient recorded movies for the duration, daily charges were more appropriate for ...

Big Ship, Crowded at Times

Grabbed this cruise as it was being offered at bargain prices. It is a huge ship, providing lots of entertainment and dining choices, but some of these venues (esp the buffet restaurant, Windjammers) became very crowded and noisy.Unlike many other ships we've been on, it was impossible to find a 'quiet corner', other than our cabin balcony. The cabin was surprisingly spacious and well-furnished ...

Royal Caribbean have dropped their standards , we have sailed many times with them in the past and sadly this trip was not worth the money. After trying MSC last year I will be cruising with them again, much more for your money and no where near as many “extras” that have to be paid for. We were very disappointed at the change in the dining each evening. We were told we could only have my-time ...
