Embarkation was the best I've ever experienced - we walked right on. Debarkation was the worst I've ever experienced - it was a nightmare. People waited hours past their assigned times, many in line. Line was from one end of the ship to the other and never seemed to move.
We were a group of approx 30 coming from Winter Haven - it was nearby and very reasonable. First complaint, we were ...
I chose this cruise because it was leaving from Tampa and because of itinerary.
Serenade of the Seas needs to be dry docked and refurbished! The staterooms are OLD and worn out.
No shampoo or bars of soap for shower. Only liquid soap dispenser marked Shampoo AND Body Wash
No Wifi except for the Royal Caribbean app and even that was inconsistent.
Internet was available for $24.99 a ...
We would recommend you not book Room 8600 on the RC Serenade. Balcony is 1/2 normal size. Room is on a curve. Guest pays normal price but gets a balcony that is not usable for two adults.
*Food- A+ We found the meals to be excellent especially the chef recomended each night.
*Service- A+ Our dining staff were great. We did not have any problems with them. Buffet was great for lunch. ...
Our honeymoon cruise was chosen, most of all, for the fine reputation of RCCL. We were surprised to find that too many experiences were annoying, disappointing and most of all, could have been corrected in real time but were not corrected at all. While we believe that cruising is a viable type of cost-controlled vavationing, we cannot see ourselves returning to RCCL given the many fine choices ...
My sister and her hubby had chosen this cruise over a year ago and we thought it would be fun to join them for the 10 days. Our mom had passed in November and this was a way of celebrating her life. She loved cruising and margaritas so we signed up for the trip. We left our east coast Florida home on the 17th and spent the night in Ybor city about 3 miles from the cruise terminal. We chose ...
we chose this cruise due to its price and the itinerary. the countries were beautiful and the excursions were very fun, however almost everything on the boat is an upcharge of a ridiculous amount. alcoholic drinks were near 20$, the internet was slow and just about 100$ for a week for only one device, t shirts are near 30$, 24 water bottles were 36$. ended up almost spent another 1000$ just for ...
This cruise was chosen by my parents, a family holiday over Christmas, which SHOULD and COULD have suited all generations. Whilst we knew the age of the ship was older (it’s certainly over due a refurb) and therefore it doesn’t offer the bells and whistles of the newer/ bigger ships in RCs fleet, there is frankly no excuse for the way in which this ship has been maintained. Whilst I would say it ...
I chose this cruise as we were on a family holiday in Florida and wanted to add on a Christmas sailing for all three generations.Us young at heart 70 year olds, daughter and son in law and their 2 children ,2yrs and 5 years.
First of all there were noticeable signs of wear and tear, but none of that duly bothered me as I know a refurb is due.
The cabins seem smaller than usual, and although ...
It was great cruising from Tampa as we are only a 15 min. drive from the port.
The ship and the junior suite we were in was much better than I expected. The junior suite was bigger and better than other RCCL ships we have been on. The ship was just refurbished in early 2022 and showed it.
The cabin attendant made sure that our three simple requests were met each day. The best was we told ...
It is clear the cruise industry is struggling with getting experienced help and cutting corners wherever they can. The dining room food was so bad, we only at there 3 nights and gave up. Everything was old, dry, tasteless. Really...I haven't seen food this bad since the old days when a Carnival cruise was $400 for the week. It took around an hour and 15 min from seating to dinner. We never ...
