I cruised royal Caribbean a few years ago and had a great time. This time around, I've found it to be a shadow of what it was from even a few years ago. The number of activities was far fewer. The food quality, preparation, and potions lower. Large blocks where child care was unavailable including during formal dining. And between myself and others in my group there were so few positive staff ...
My experience will be unforgettable because it wasn't good at all. Starting from the breakfast,we had to wait about 15 min to enter because there was no table available as they were saying to us but there were many as far as we could saw. We asked for marmalade the 2nd day and they told us was finished ,but the table next to us had. The shows were a disaster. After dinner there was al.ost nothing ...
I took my 6 and 9 year-olds on this trip while my dear wife stayed behind with our 6-week old. It was a great "dad trip" before school started. We did not even get off the ship in Nassau (as planned). I expected everyone to have the same idea in Nassau and stay on the ship, but no. The pool deck had plenty of space, the pools were nearly empty, and it was even easy to score a hot tub entirely to ...
We enjoy sailing from Bayonne New Jersey in the summer- our annual Summer cruise. This cruise was 9 nights so we had bonus days. The terminal now is much more crowded as it used to accommodate smaller ships. When we enter the terminal area, we dropped off our luggage, then proceeded to an outdoor parking lot as the main indoor lot was full. Since we were in a suite, we had an early boarding ...
The Navigator is a Beautiful ship.
Easy parking at the port. $20 a day.
We had a balcony cabin on deck 12. Cabin 1888.
Entertainment on board was Vegas quality. We loved all of the shows.
Dining- Main dining was a 6/10. Service great. Food soso. But I am a spoiled by cruising higher end cruise lines.
Windjammer buffet was okay. Nothing special.
On deck Mexican food was ...
We are a family of four whose cruise had been delayed by two years with Covid restrictions. We were nervous pre cruise as we had to take Lateral Flow Tests before boarding. The process at embarkation was seamless. A lot had to be done on the app which some passengers may find daunting. Although the ship is not one of the new all bells and whistle ships it was beautifully kept just large enough ...
This was a family cruise with my daughter, son in law, and 4 year old granddaughter, who stayed in the adjacent room no. 8 204. It was supposed to have taken place this past December, but my granddaughter test positive for Covid and RCI refunded all of the fare with our any hassle. We chose this cruise because it departs from Brooklyn. We live in Long Island and this was a no-fly cruise. The ...
There were a few good things however the bad significantly outweighed the good.
It was way too crowded. The hot tubs and pools were overcrowded.
The room was need of repair. Some of the hinges did not work. Also, the service for the room was poor. On one day they did not deliver fresh towels.
The food in the windjammer was not great and there was not enough variety.
At least the food ...
So I booked this cruise for 3 cabins for a total party of 11 people. The boat is nice and seems to be well kept. The food was good and the staff in the dining room was great. They seemed to have a pretty decent handle on the covid thing and they had "guards" lol waiting at the buffet to ensure people washed their hands. Cabins were clean and nice. The ice skating show was incredible! The other ...
Went on Mariner of the Seas, 5 nights to Labadee and Coco Cay. Frequent cruisers but first time after just one on Royal Caribbean years ago. Was multi-generational trip including first cruise for 7 and 9 year old granddaughters. Selected this trip as two great ports and activities on ship and adjourning promenade rooms for 4 family members. Enjoyed the ports and would return to both private ...
