Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

I have cruised with rccl many times in the past. I had a problem with my next door neighbor playing and singing along with rap music from 1:30 am to 2:15 am. I called guest service twice and no one answered. Later they offered 15% of the cost of that cruise towards the next rccl within the year. That's $200. Wow. They give out one pen to a winning team for a trivia challenge. One pen total. We ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Traveled with my husband and two teens. Not much to do for teens. Teen club was a huge disappointment. Ship was way too crowded. Couldn't get even 1 chair near the pools. People put their stuff on the chairs for the entire day. You're constantly online waiting, even sometimes at the buffet. Food is fine, very repetitive by the 3rd day. Kids had the soda package. Half the machines ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

Bad experience
First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

I would only give this ship 1 star but because of the ports, our room attended and the crew in the casino I give it 3 stars. This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise. We have been on many Carnival ships and decided to join our daughter and family on Royal Caribbean. Unfortunately, the trip didn't start off well. We got to our room and soon as we opened the door to our room we were hit with a ...

Just my opinion on Oasis/ Seas 7 Night West Car...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Everything is a lot more crowded than you expect. You stand in line a lot. Lines for the buffet, lines for getting on and off the boat, lines for ELEVATOR, lines for any and all food or snacks. I would rather pay a bit more and travel with fewer people. Kids are everywhere unsupervised. People let their children run around by themselves. You can't get near a hot tub or pool. Even in the ...

Feeling Cuts to Pay $11 Billion Pandemic Bond Debt

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Independence of the Seas

Cruise #6 with RCI since 2012. Cost cutting to pay the $11B in pandemic bond debt has really hurt the experience. Food quality and options have declined. Service is hit or miss, with MDR and Windjammer service noticeably worse. Nickel and Diming ($20-ing and $40-ing) for things that aren't worth paying for (e.g. $35 for the escape room, $2 to play skee ball for 30 seconds) -- even the teenagers ...

A mostly introverted review

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

To start off, I'll tell you a little about myself to give context to this review. I'm 46, gay, married, and I'm about 70% introvert. This is my 12th cruise, and my 3rd on RCCL. My favorite line is Celebrity, because I like being quietly pampered and relaxing. But I also really like Royal Caribbean's fun, friendly vibe. On every cruise I've taken, even cruises bad enough that I've rejected ...

App was slow, Didn't hide events that were full and often hid prices till you got to the event. Food quality was inconsistent, some days it would be amazing, others bad. They nickel and dime you as well as having every event on ship consistently overpriced. An extreme lack of vegan food, which i was assured there would be plenty of options for. Would have also appreciated if the game systems they ...

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

My husband and I sailed on what we call "the cruise to nowhere", being the 19 March 2024 Brilliance of the Seas "11 day "cruise to the South Pacific from Sydney, Australia The cruise was meant to head to Lifou, Noumea, Mystery Island, Port Vila and Luganville for 11 days. In the end we only (just) got to Lifou - the other ports were cancelled and the cruise was cut short from 11 days to 8 days ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

The MDR service was good but the food was just not edible. The saving grace was the dessert. My mom ordered a NY steak strip medium, however it was more like a skirt steak and it was well done and tough. I ordered chicken on two nights and both nights the chicken texture and flavor was not good. Even for breakfast our toast was not toasted, it was still soft. My daughter ordered the free ...
