We had a good trip! We have cruised about 6 times before. This was by far the worst food. We flew in on Air Canada the day of the cruise. We took a shuttle to the port and we were on the ship by 1pm . Royal Caribean, Radiance of the Seas was a beautiful ship. It was clean , roomy, the service was really good. We didn't like the food too much in the main dinning room & in the buffet. We heard some ...

Embarkation was a breeze. Stayed at the Comfort Inn Airport near Old Town. Took their shuttle to port and left luggage for a porter. Walked right through and was aboard by 11:30 AM. We have been cruising on Celebrity for the last 7 years or so, but went with Royal Caribbean because Celebrity not offering anything with this itinerary. Definitely a step down. Ship was nice. Except for toilet ...

I'm a new professional travel agent with 1 year experience as an agent but with 10 years of cruising world wide for over 17 week on 6 cruise lines. I read some of the reviews of this cruise ship and itinerary prior to leaving and found a mix of reviews. So very crittical. So I thought when I got back i'd wite up something for my peers and for anyone on this site. Here goes... Note: I paid the ...

RCL Radiance of the Sea 10 day Mexician Riveria RT San Diego cruise. Mexico was warm & most cities were clean. The Roll Call group did a lot of tours toegther. M&M was the first sea day and our group had an organized slot pull with no luck after the M&M. In Cabo we did Whale watching with a shore company. We saw several different mom & baby with companion. One of the babies was learning how to ...

We arrived 3 days before the cruise so we could take our 3 year old to Disney and Sea World. We also took in the Midway. Three jam packed days but all worth it. Stayed at the Omni downtown and it was great for the $105 per night deal we got through expedia. If we had paid the #300+ original price, I would have been upset. Embarkation: Decided to wait until the rush was over on embarkation day, so ...

Will present review as pointers. 1 - We are Diamond members. 2 - Have sailed Radiance once before and loved it - thus one reason we chose this cruise. 3 - Activities were the worse I have ever experienced - wait, let me rephrase this - the activities were not bad, but the scheduling of such were done with very little thought to the passenger. One example would be bean tossing at 6 PM - another ...

Embarkation My friend lives in San Diego, so we parked at the Park n Go lot on Pacific Hwy - - go to their website to get a coupon for a discount (it's $9/day with coupon). They have free roundtrip shuttle directly to the cruise terminal. The only problem we had was that apparently someone on another ship didn't clear immigration that morning, so they wouldn't let anyone off of either ship in port ...

Good Cruise, Poor Food

This was our sixth cruise, and we have cruised on five different lines. Having fallen in love with cruising, our project is to sail with all the major American lines in order to find our favorites. Perhaps this is a misguided project, as individual ships may vary considerably. Be that as it may, this was Royal Caribbean's turn. As always, it was a breeze to get to the San Diego cruise port from ...

We decided to book this cruise as we were running out of options with Princess and RCL offered a better value. In fact, we surprised our teen-age children with their own stateroom. Two balcony staterooms turned out to be a great start to an awesome cruise. The Embarkation was very disorganized. Lots of room for improvement. San Diego is a great city to sail out of, but they need to work on the ...

It's hard to believe that it's been almost a week since we took the sad, sad walk off of the Radiance of the Seas. My husband and I have cruised several times, once before on a Royal Caribbean ship. We've also cruised the Mexican Riviera before, though did so on a different cruise line last year. We live in San Diego, and were looking for a cruise that would allow us to relax and have some fun ...
