Loved the Transatlantic experience on Odyssey! This was our first TA and it was better than expected. This ship has so many different venues so we had plenty to do with 5 consecutive sea days. The first night was a little bumpy but after that smooth sailing. My wife and I celebrated her birthday and our retirement. We had a great time visiting ports in Italy, Greece and Turkey. Unfortunately we had to reroute from Israel due to the war. Took this cruise for the itinerary. Mykonos, Santorini & Israel. Unfortunately war broke out and the Israel stops were cancelled. Not RCL fault. Completely understood this. MDR food was ok. Much smaller portions served on BIG plates doesn't impress me. No lobster night (could pay $17.99 + 18% gratuity for a 4 oz tail). I have been on the Empress, Freedom, Enchantment with upcoming cruises on Celebrity Ascent and Radiance. Enchantment has been my least favorite. I will say that the service was good. We flew into Rome and stayed at hotel Artimide. It was a great choice. Fine rooftop bar and restaurant and outstanding breakfast buffet.
