We wanted to experience a few days in Rome before boarding the ship for our trip back to Miami. Ezplorer is one of our favorite ships. Perfect size and great service. Our favorite cruise director, Hello Clo and our favorite head waiter, Gianni were there to greet us when we boarded. We took early dining and had the best waiter and assistant waiter. Artha and Ayu--married from Bali. The lecture ...

I was a bit uncertain about this ship. It is a smaller older ship. This was also our first time taking a European cruise. Let me tell you how fantastic this cruise was. The ship is well maintained and very comfortable. The service was outstanding. The food in the main dining room as well as the Windjammer buffet was plentiful and delicious. The entertainment was top notch. There is actually a ...

Flew to Athens, Greece. Spent 3 nights sight seeing. Boarded the ship. Embarkment was easy and quick. Had a great lunch in the Windjammer buffet. Food choices were plentiful and delicious. Cabins were ready at 1pm. Luggage arrived between 2-4pm. We were in an outside cabin with a large window. Cabin was very comfortable and steward ( Henrik) was friendly and efficient. Main dining room ...

Excellent cruise and itinerary

We were very impressed with this older ship, despite the fact that it could do with some further updating and is a little tired looking. It is a good sized ship, with lots of space and good public places. The itinerary in the Greek islands was great, and the ship’s tours we did in Kotor, Corfu and Argostoli were all very good. Our balcony cabin was spacious and kept very clean by our cabin ...

Canaries. A great cruise and itinerary

After ready lots of reviews in the weeks prior to going I was not expecting much at all. Obviously passengers opinions vary but some of the complaints had me worried. I also went on Anthem last year which was terrible as things were still badly effected by covid. From the moment we got on this time it was different altogether. Staff levels were back to normal, the Windjammer food was amazing and ...

Unlike other reviews the staff is very friendly and helpful. We (6 persons) have not once met or encountered an unfriendly staff member. Service at the main dining hall is excellent, personal and friendly. Our waiters Iputu and Kadek were very nice. Yes, the ship is somewhat dated and it shows, but for us nowhere near what others have reviewed. Rooms were clean (other than the occasional ...

I chose a 7 night cruise to France and Spain for myself, husband and our 17 year old teenager departing Southampton as we live in London and could drive to the port in about 2 hours. We parked our car at the port and it was a short walk to the ship. Our luggage was collected from us in the car park and delivered to our staterooms later that evening. The cruise had a packed schedule of ...

A Sample of Montenegro and Greece (and Norovirus)

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

Wash your frickin hands people! Before I talk about the cruise, there was an outbreak of Norovirus on this sailing which can be largely prevented if people washed their hands frequently, but clearly a lot of people don't believe in basic hygiene. Before the outbreak I heard one woman complaining about having to wash her hands when entering the Windjammer buffet because "she washed them before ...
