Worst Cruise on RCCL

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Wonder of the Seas

I do not remember the last time I had posted a review about a cruise. The disappointment is so great that after being home after a back to back on Wonder, at least the venting might make be forget and feel less annoyed. Who we are two parents with two kids. Diamond members and have a dozen cruises with Royal. I will start with the food. After the MDR menu changes, we do not even bother going ...

Worst value cruise

Horrible value, will never go on RC again. Spend more elsewhere for a better experience. Dining was horrible, somehow dining room food was worse than buffet. Food was poor quality and not well cooked. By the second day no one went to the dining room anymore. Such a beautiful dining venue, yet such disappointing food. Not one food item on the cruise that was good. Buffet hours are way too short. ...

Not worth the money

The ship is ginormous, beautiful, and kept clean the entire time. Because it is huge, there are plenty of chairs and space in the pools, which is one of the only positives of the ship compared to other cruises I have been on. However, if you are looking for the typical amenities of being on a cruise, this ship is not the right choice. The selection and availability of regular drinks throughout the ...

It was a letdown

I took a cruise 12 years ago and loved it. I was excited about getting to go back to coco cay. I told my wife how amazing it was and told my kids they were gonna love it. When we got to the new coco cay to say I was disappointed would be a huge understatement. Not only have they destroyed the island feel of it. They booked another cruise ship on the island the same day. There was no room in the ...

An overcrowded cruise on an old ship

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

This cruise was way too crowded for comfort. The pool chairs we always full. There is no splash pad and no babies allowed in the pool. Not even a blow up pool on the deck unless you agree to carry it full of water to the bathroom and dump the water there. There were only 4 bathroom stalls for the main pool. Our aft suite looked over a blue roof and horizontal multiple metal bars. There ...

if it wasn't for the friends we cruised with, this would have been a bust

My husband and I have cruised over 12 times over the years. This was our 3rd or 4th cruise on RC. Our first was 21 years ago. This trip was chosen as we cruised with 13 other friends and some had to cruise in the summer (teacher, etc.). Typically, my husband and I cruise/vacation when children are still in school. Also my husband and I wouldn't normally choose a cruise with only 3 ports on a ...

Wonder by name, NOT Wonder by nature!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Wonder of the Seas

Was expecting it to be busy but wasn't expecting the type of people this ship attracted. Very crowded in all public areas, people reserving pool beds from the crack of dawn. Very difficult to secure a pool bed on sea days. Royal Caribbean food standards and variety continue to decline as do the drinks, off label brands of drinks used unless asking for named brand. Massive fight ...

Noise After Midnight Every Night

We chose this Cruise as a last minute thing for some reasons related to an upcoming Medical procedure. Our only option with a guaranteed inside cabin. The cabin was okay as far as storage goes, the bed was a little too firm, and the switch to the bathroom is on the outside. Therefore every time someone into the bathroom at night it lit up the entire room. This was our third time on Royal ...

I have been on the Mariner of the seas before, I loved the food decided to book again months later. The food both on the buffet and restaurant was all days the same, very disappointed, because in the past was not like that, the prices are high now, and the food is worst than COVID times, I dont understand why the change... The cruise is clean and their island is really nice, did a good job ...

Good day - As always, I give my best and most detailed views whenever we finish a cruise. In this review I will be covering Port Parking, Embarking, Disembarking, Restaurants, Shows, Service and overall experience. Note we are Diamond Members approaching Diamond Plus status with Royal Caribbean with 17 Cruises completed since 2012 so we are not first timers to royal or cruising in general. As ...
