If you are looking for a fun cruise and you don't want to take a week off of work or a week away from your kids - I encourage you to check out 3 night weekend cruises. I took this cruise in March with my two sisters to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was a great mix of relaxation, great food and entertainment with a party atmosphere. Moms will understand how great it is for someone else to cook and ...

We had been on Harmony 4 years ago and wanted to go on one in this class, and dates and length of cruise worked for us. Friends of ours that had never been on a cruise wanted to go with us, so I chose the Harmony. We all enjoyed everything about it. There were a few things that have changed: Menu options in the dining room were fewer but there was always something we all liked, there was a lobster ...

First of all I'd like too mention the Staybridge Suites in Fort Lauderdale where we stayed the night before. Nice hotel with complimentary transportation too the cruise port which I thought was a huge perk. This was our fourth cruise and embarkation was the fastest we have ever experienced. Popular opinion is too get on the ship as early as possible. In my opinion I am going too wait till later ...

My wife and I are boomers, Diamond, and one of us had a smartphone. This was the Wonder's first cruise out of Port Canaveral. The traffic outside the port was terrible. We arrived at noon and didn't actually make it to the terminal until 1:30. Once in, everything flowed smoothly. I heard the delay was due to the mandatory Coast Guard inspection for ocean crossing ships. Everything was normal and ...

This was our very first cruise for my wife and I. No special occasion, we just decided since we live in Florida, we might as well try a cruise. I bought our tickets through an agency my work uses and that was seamless. We picked a balcony cabin on the 7th deck, 7658, thinking that level will be quiet and conveniently located. My wife can’t walk long distances, so she used a transport ...

Great Ship for Weekend Getaway

I mainly chose this cruise for the convenient 2-night itinerary to Coco Cay for my daughter and I. A few of the highlights and tips: Service: everyone was friendly and helpful. I didn’t get a sense they were understaffed, which I know has been a complaint for many lines. Food: Jamie’s Italian was excellent. The buffet was decent for buffet food. They kept the stations filled even with the ...

Over all the trip was great. Few minor mishaps on embarkment day and the one day my eye glass flew overboard. Embarkment was a chaotic. No direction really. There were set boarding times but no one was following them. Ours was at 11:30 and we had the Key program (highly recommended, at least for us). Key - early check-in, special security and check-in lines, free lunch on the first day, free ...

Our cruise was lovely. We have been on Independence of the Seas before. We are quite fond of this ship. Our stops were the usual suspects...Coco Cay and Nassau. Good stops for a weekend cruise. Food was great in Dining room and Windjammer. Entertainment was good. Cabin steward was amazing. Key was worth every penny . We enjoyed our Key Lunch. All in all the cruise was restful ...
