Vastly Underwhelming Customer Service

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We chose this sailing as a (cheap) way to get my family, my parents, and my in-laws all on one boat. It was my parents first time on a cruise ship. We started planning it in October of 2017 and that's when the problems with customer service started. Pre-Boarding My father has a hard time sleeping prone so we had called RC before we booked and asked if there were any options for him. We were ...

We arrived at the Port Canaveral 11:15 The line for security was out the door. It moved rather quickly. We were on the boat by 12:00. We went up to the Windjammer for lunch the line was long and had to wait for a table. Food was OK. We found out later we could have went down 1 deck to eat with no line. They let us in our rooms at 1:00. Our room was 10329 Boardwalk view last cabin toward the ...

Horrible Food

We were part of a group. The food was awful, but the service was great. I believe the cruise lines are trying to force people to pay for upgraded food. I miss the old days of cruising. I also miss the days where you paid tips to those who deserve it. This overall tipping across the board is not fair and then at the end of the cruise you've got cruise line employees standing around looking for ...

Sail Date 8/12/2018 Embark/Debark – Port Canaveral – Spent 2 days prior in Cocoa beach prior Destinations – Saint Maarten, San Juan, Labadie Haiti Summary We have been on quite a few cruises and on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the highest, I would rank this around a 6. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great time, but in our opinion, the ship was too big. We are a family of 4 ages 47,46,15 ...

Very Dated Ship but Common Areas are Decent

The cruise was decent. The start of our cruise was a bit rocky, the muster drill took incredibly long to begin and seemed quite disorganized, also there seemed to be an issue with their intercom system as not all announcements could be heard around the ship (we didn't even hear that the rooms were ready while we were at the Windjammer). The waiting staff in the My Fair Lady dining room were nice ...

OK - missing value for money spent

The cruise certainly had a target market -- people who had a lot of money to spend. The experience was ok. First few days were not enjoyable and I just wanted to click my heels and be home. got sick off of the breakfast at Windjammer the first day and refused to go back. Food was not great. Food was often cold. St Thomas still has not recovered from the Hurricane over a year ago and ...

The restaurant staff provided my family with exceptional service. In the dining hall, you could order as many courses as you want, all included in the price. I definitely recommend going to the dining hall if you want to dress up more. If not, the buffet has an average selection of food with desserts galore. One thing I was extremely unhappy about is that there was no waterslide. On the ...

Overall, I rated this cruise a six. The Aqua Show, Come Fly With, Trivia, and Karioki were fun. The food was good I’m the dining Room, but the bar service im there was awful. The food at the Windjammer was bland and barely edible. We did not try any of the specialty restaurants as we felt we were paying enough. Late night food options were scarce. Better like pizza. That’s what we subsisted on ...

Not what I expected from a well known cruiseline

Customer service and majority of staffs working on the cruise have bad service. Extra charge was put on the account. We travel in the middle on high season some of the on board activity was cut back due to under staff and other activity have to wait in line more than 1 hours. Buffet staffs are not friendly. Got 3 main pool was small with so much people water was so cloudy. Main dinning service was ...
