Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Independence of the Seas

This experience has been nothing but a headache from the very beginning. We booked this trip for our children’s first cruise along with 2 other families that were joining us. A few months after we completely paid off our cruise and excursions we attempted to get a price reduction for a promo sale they were offering. Our ticket was canceled by a Royal Carribean agent in error which resulted in a ...

KIDS EVERYWHERE

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Independence of the Seas

Kids outnumbered adults 8 to 1. If you want to know what a Disney Cruise is like, this was for you. LINES everywhere, don't get into a hurry, you had to wait for everything, alot of this was due to kids. ex: mom with 4 kids in buffet line trying to figure out what each child wanted to eat, while 2 of the kids were running around screaming. Staff wasn't knowledgeable, ex: at Coco Cay, asked one ...

I can honestly say worst cruise I have ever been on. The first day we show up at 1:30 our given time to check in. We had our documentation. Covid test negative, Covid vaccine and passports. Before boarding they ask for your documentation. We were told Covid test had to be electronic. I asked please show me where that was written. The gentlemen said he didn't have the paperwork and if ...

Let me start this review by saying I have cruised a lot - well over 100 cruises. My wife and I have cruised on the IOS a number of times. It’s not often that we’ve had a terrible experience on any ship. However, this cruise is one of the five worst I’ve ever experienced. The dining room service was basically non-existent. My wife and I have never had worse dining service. I’m not sure what ...

Be careful when you pay for excursions and don't use it and it rains. It's like pulling wisdom teeth to get your money refunded, when you leave the ship. I will not be coming back on Royal Caribbean ever again. Food not all that. Pizza was good. They try to give you a credit. No way give me my hard earned money back. Thanks and good bye! Wifi not so good. Service was trash. I Paid for my drink ...

First of all we were told the boat was only going to be at 50% capacity because of Covid, not true. Heard from our room service there were 4200 cruisers out of a max 4500 cruisers. Pre-ordered deluxe drink package, also 5 arcade packages. When we got on our cruise they were not on our cards or on our rooms. So we went to guests services. The line was very long, as it was the entire trip. ...

This cruise was 5 days and went to Mexico and Coco Cay. This site won't allow anything else besides what's above. Chose Mariner because my family had been on Independence twice before, and they are similar (sister) ships, so I was told by a Royal Caribbean rep. Boy was that a mistake. We can start with the room mixup. I was under the impression when I called and booked the cruise the balcony ...

Birthday and Anniversary Cruise planned for the wife and I. It's been several years since our last cruise. The overall experience really was disappointing even though the food and waiter staff experience was good. Several bad experience which included inconsistency with the organization boarding process. -unclear documentation requirements for Antigen testing documentation and rude ...

We chose this cruise because we had already sailed carnival a few times , and wanted to try what we heard was a step up. It was terrible! Just trying to get an elevator you could fit in was nearly impossible. We took the stairs 5-6 flights most of the day. Just up and down. The staff was unpleasant for the most part. There was definitely more unhappy irritated staff then there was happy and ...

Awful

The cabin bathroom was filthy! Black mold in shower and the sinks faucet was caked in grime. Trying to reach customer service desk via phone was impossible it either rang forever or you would get caught in a automated loop. Complementary food was tasteless, their promenade café only served pizza and cheap sandwiches. The windjammer cafe was closed was too much, and the food selection subpar. The ...
