Really good ship

As with all RC ships, it's in great shape and they keep it very clean. The majority of staff are ultra friendly and welcoming. The indoor promenade is something I really like about this class of ship, and this one did not disappoint. It has an indoor shopping mall feel that for some reason I really like. It's a big ship, but it's not so big that that you cringe at the thought of having to walk ...

We have cruised Royal Caribbean 7 times and love it. However, the show Grease was a big disappointment. It began with one of the actors humping the leg of another. Then later in the show, Danny comes out wearing a sweat suit. He turned to the audience and it looked like he had a huge erection. Some people laughed and he pulled out a pack of cigarettes. We thought it was Very inappropriate for ...

Belonged to a group who decided to put together a cruise to Bermuda. Hadn’t been there in years and wanted to go there again. Was disappointed when , due to a hurricane, the itinerary changed. We understood the reasoning , for our safety, but was very disappointed. Instead of getting to Bermuda, first at 8am and leaving the next day at 3:30, we went there last. Got there 5pm. Left next day at ...

First Cruise Ever

The Royal Caribbean staff were mostly great. Some of them didn’t know very much. Maybe the were new hires. It was hard to find out what to expect or how to plan for this cruise from the Royal Caribbean website. Especially what you need purchase for food. My wife and I knew absolutely nothing about being on a cruise ship and learned as we went along. We bought a Key Membership. I recommend ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Wonder of the Seas

The overall experience was dampened by small but noticeable changes to RCL’s on board service. Our room attendant informed us that he would service our cabin “either in the morning or late afternoon” and we had to choose. No turn down service in the evening & no chocolate!!- a small thing but one which was usually provided on previous cruises. Diamond Club: during the afternoon cocktail hour, ...

Enjoyable Cruise

My family of 5, ages 53, 52, 24, 22, 22, chose this cruise because of the itinerary. This was our 10th cruise with Royal Caribbean and we never visited Curaçao or Aruba before. Embarking/Departure: This was the most disappointing part of the cruise, but it was not Royal Caribbean’s fault. Embarking was delayed about 45 minutes due to the Coast Guard’s yearly inspection. Departing was a ...

We are fresh off of the 7/2 sailing of the Wonder of the Seas and I wanted to share my experience with anyone who is interested. Just as the title states, this is our second RCL cruise. Our first was last summer on Symphony. See that review below. I'll try to keep this one as brief and to the point as possible. Hopefully I can answer any questions someone may have. Embarkation - We took an ...

We have sailed Royal several times but this was our first time taking our kids (17, 15, 12). Pros: lots to do on the ship. Kids enjoyed the arcade, Rick climbing, laser tag, water slides and mini golf. Food was good, not amazing. Lots of repetition in the windjammer which we had not seen on past cruises. Main dining staff were amazing, brought the kids extra things to try every meal. Food ...

Good, but not great

Although a nice looking ship, we found the food to be just alright. Our room looked great, but was in a bad location. We had no sleep the entire week due to pool chairs being dragged above us and stomping of feet. Shows were amazing, but bartenders seemed burned out and done with dealing with passengers. Strange that all restaurants and excursions were totally booked up months in advance. ...

Great Family Cruise with Teenage Grandkids-Both Cabins needed maintenance!

Been on RCCL many times (Diamond Members) and this was a family cruise for the Teenage Grandkids. Everyone had a good time, and the ship overall exceeded our expectations for a 4 night family type cruise. The Food variety was a little more limited (especially in the Windjammer) but actually very good in all the free offerings. Entertainment especially "Grease" was well done. The activity ...
