Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Wonder of the Seas

Our last cruise was on the Harmony and we really enjoyed it, so we thought we would check out the Wonder. We are experienced cruisers in our 50's, and were traveling with my parents again (80 and 81). Entertainment: We attended all of the shows. Did not think that the Effectors show would be our speed, and my dad skipped it, but it is worth attending for the special effects alone. We wound up ...

I picked this cruise when I found out my 2 sisters were sailing on it . Jeannie has never been on a cruise so I wanted to make this a special time for her . I boarded the ship and waited in the schooner bar . And enjoyed a mock cocktail before going up to the windjammer . I saw my sister sitting at a table she was so shocked to see me . I was so happy to find them both enjoying lunch . We sailed ...

Pleasantly surprised

I booked my first cruise with Royal Caribbean as a tribute to a childhood friend (and RCL Employee). I was pleasantly surprised by pretty much everything. My only "complaint" was that the scrambled eggs at the Windjammer were gross, but easily forgiven due to other options. Didn't care for my meal at Jamie's, but that could easily be because truffle based meals just don't jive with my pallet. The ...

An Excellent Ship for a great price

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

We have been on a total 18 cruises with Disney, NCL, RCL and Holland. This was a four night to Nassau, Perfect Day with two days at sea. We never felt the ship moving, it was smooth sailing all the way. We ate in the main dining each night and the food and service was excellent. You do not need to spend extra money on the specialty dining. We had a balcony room on the 11th deck and slept ...

Best Cruise Ever!

I was hesitant to board this ship as it was not and has not been amplified. But the ship is in tip top shape and couldn't even tell it was an old ship. The layout and design was beautiful. The artwork was very nice and different. The Broadway show was amazing and funny and up beat. People got up from their chairs singing and dancing. I also enjoyed this ship using/converting the Royal Thearte into ...

First Time on RCL & Won't Be the Last!

This was our first time on RCL having sailed Carnival, NCL, and Holland pre-Covid. From the easy embarkation and debarkation and everything in between, we had a wonderful time. The staff was so nice. The food was great and we really enjoyed the Aqua and Comedy shows. We booked ahead, but saw most everyone in the stand by lines get in. Surprised to see other reviewers commenting on nothing to ...

We really enjoyed our recent cruise! We decided early on to get a Balcony cabin on deck 12 and splurge a little on the dining and shore excursions. We were able to get a discounted Unlimited Dining Package when it was on sale over a holiday weekend, along with zoom internet, and discounted shore excursions. We really took advantage of the unlimited dining and only ate in the main dining room ...

December cruise to escape winter weather. Cruise exceeded expectations; however, there were both Positives & Negatives. This is a mega ship - alot of walking! Select your stateroom with that fact in mind. The window overlooking Central Park was good location. Specialty Dining was great, but more a fan of Mason Jar & Hooked, than of Chops. Solarium was huge. Kids permitted in Solarium Bistro made ...

A WONDERful cruise!

We chose the Wonder of the Seas because my husband really enjoys the large ships and everything they have to offer. We booked a ocean view cabin with a large balcony. We did enjoy the depth of the balcony. It gave the two of us some extra room. There was plenty of storage space in this cabin and the bathroom is pretty much standard but did have a rounded solid door on the shower. We brought our ...

Great ship, lots of fun!

This was the best cruise I have been on. The ship is beautiful, with non-stop action until late at night. Here are some thoughts about the cruise: Embarkation/Disembarcation: So much better in Canaveral than Miami. As fast and easy as it could be. The elevators are very busy during these times. Food and drinks: The food was great in the Main Dinning Room, and a few other places like ...
