We chose this ship because we went on it last year and loved it. However, this year the ship had definitely gone downhill some as far as maintenance, etc. and was in need of some updates and maintenance. The food was very average and disappointing but the service was great. I think that the excursions we chose were over priced and disappointing and it would be good for Royal to give a better ...

Very disappointing!

My family of 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 14, 10, and 10 months) went on the Oasis of the Seas for our yearly vacation. Cabin was disappointing as it did not accommodate 4 people plus pack n play which was sold to me when I booked. So we were crammed in a room and baby had to sleep in our bed. One incident was when we attended a family game activity that took a rated "R" turn when the host said in ...

Good service but terrible food quality. Overall a very average experience!

Looks like there has been one cut too many. Poor food presentation. Most food arrived cold and menu items unavailable or incorrect in main dining room. Quality of food was terrible. School dinners are better on most days. Even specialty restaurants struggle to provide a reasonable standard of food. 150 Central Park was the best experience on board but Chops Grill has fallen into obscurity. ...

First cruise ever, happy family

For our first cruise, we went with Royal Caribbean. We upgraded to an Owner’s suite, so that is my frame of reference. I have never stayed in any other type of room, so I have no other basis with which to compare this. The room was very large and comfortable. My family of 4 (Parents, 17 year old daughter, 18 year old daughter)) truly enjoyed our first cruise and we will definitely do it again. ...

The cruise was great, services were great. Food was great. Just a great vacation overall. Love the balcony ocean view and the room was fantastic. This is my 4th cruise, 2nd on Royal Carribean and I love the service and food on Royal. I highly recommend Royal Carribean and love the effort that is put in to make our vacation enjoyable. This was our vacation for the year and could not have been ...

Went with another couple and had never done a RC Cruise - always Carnival - so we decided to try it. It was truly more than we ever expected. We had such a great time. The food was amazing. Our servers were Gilman and Ronald, and they went above and beyond. The shops were unbelievable - so high end! So many restaurants to choose from - Great shows - great bars with wonderful entertainment. ...

We chose this cruise for all activities on the ship such as free zip lining, rock wall climbing and flow rider experience. We did not know the kids would get to go to the adventure ocean program where they can go and play with new friends for free and we got to go have fun on the ship sans children. Our girls are 9 and 11 and they got to stay together and make all kinds of new friends. The workers ...

If you plan to purchase a gift card to use onboard during your cruise be aware that it takes 15 days to activate, and this is not stated before you purchase and you only find out when you try to activate. If you have a person sharing a cabin that does not drink alcohol and one that does and they wanted to purchase a drink package the second person must purchase one also. I called and inquired if ...

We had been on Allure a few years ago and loved it, so we wanted to try the sister ship, Oasis. I would still rate Allure a bit better as far as the food that was offered, but most of our meals were very good. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly, especially since we had everything done online ahead of time. We also had booked all our entertainment ahead of time and made sure our ...
