No refrigerator in the room, poor stateroom location, broken pipes, poor lounge

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Vision of the Seas

We wanted to go thru the Panama Canal from Miami to Los Angeles. We are diamond plus level cruisers and are supposed to be admitted to the concierge's lounge. We were forced to go to the diamond lounge or overflow lounge because they had too many pinnacles. This is the first time that we were ever excluded from this lounge. The Vision had just returned from dry dock and they had stripped all ...

How to ruin a great ship, add lots of dinning rooms, charge extra for most, add more reservations, provide lousy service, call it dynamic dinning. Be aware menus repeat after only a few days in the complimentary dining rooms. Entertainment, Mamma Mia, reservation was not available when we finally got out of the dining room, so we missed that performance. The other two main shows were not ...

Cruise from Galveston

First, like I usually do, I book a motel a day before the cruise (just to insure no timing problems). So I booked this cruise from Galveston and then a motel there. Then air from San Diego to Houston, and thinking I would just rent a car at the airport and drop it off on the island, go on the cruise and rend another car when we returned and visit my cousin in Katy then fly home. Problem: You can ...

We arrived at the Port of Galveston in plenty of time to be greeted by piles of suitcases and bewildered passengers with no guidance from staff. Took over an hour to get to the front desk to check in and the check in staff had no idea what to do with our residence cards or UK ESTA travel documents, finally after 20 mins we got our Sea Pass cards and headed to the ship. I was told by several ...

Another couple, my husband and I initially enjoyed a one day cruise (for Travel agents) which was satisfactory, one day prior to an adjoining cruise. We had decided to purchase an immediate next day cruise on the same ship (a day following the travel agents cruise) We were able to remain onboard for a three day (one way cruise) to Colon, Panama. We had not experienced any problems during the one ...

Good -Great Cruise Critic's to hang out with. 14 day cruise. Time to relax. No kids on board, they were in school. Bad -Worst room steward we have ever had. He was unhappy, complained about his job to me each time I spoke to him. Never clean the room till after lunch. All other cruise critic's said they had a good room steward. Also Food was bad, not good at all. They need a new chef. No ...

Our Brilliance of the Seas was "below average", at best. On the plus side, the crew and entertainment were very good. The two alternative restaurants, Chops & Portofino were excellent in all respects. (there is an extra charge. That's about it! Regarding cabin selection, don't accept any cabins in the back quarter of the ship.Since there is no access to other decks in the stern area, you will ...

We had previously won a cruise during a bingo session aboard the Navigator (a beautiful ship with a fantastic crew) and since we had planned to attend Mardi Gras we decided to take the Mardi Gras Cruise aboard Rhapsody of the Seas from Feb 22-29. We arrived a day early to enjoy an evening of Galveston's Mardi Gras celebration before departing on what RCCL staff described as a Mardi Gras party ...
