Beautifull and luxury ship, very clean, the crew as freedom class ship very nice people, ready to help and very good service everywhere. We were 6 people, family of 4 ( ages 18, 20, 50 and 53) and 2 friends (ages 51 and 58), many thing to do for all of us. Pros: Pool area called the "Solarium", amazing place. I wanted to go on the Anthem of the Seas. It was a great ship but we did not like the dining. However as of November 27th they are changing their dining experience. They have decided that Dynamic dining is not enjoyed by most of the cruisers. Also the Diamond lounge did not always have the essentials for breakfast such as butter, orange juice and milk. The attendant got it for us but we ...

Been using Royal Caribbean for years. Always had a better experience with them over any other cruise line. The food is always better on Royal Caribbean cruise lines so I was highly impressed with the food quality. The gourmet restaurants were AMAZING as well. well worth the money. Out of all the cruises I have been on, this cruise had some of the best tour options while docked. We went ...

Oasis of the Seas is an amazing ship. It is massive with a 6,000 guest capacity. It offers Central Park on deck 8 complete with trees, plants, flowers. A boardwalk on decks 5/6 with a carousal, diner, candy store, etc. You can learn to surf on board, play basketball, rock climb or try out the zip line. Deck 5 with all its shops, eateries, etc. is gorgeous and comes with a Rolls Royce for photo ...

Family ocean view room not worth it

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

First let me say this was our first cruise with kids (ages 7,2 & 1). We opted to book the family ocean view cabin based on RC recommendations. It was not the vacation we expected... Some due to RC and some because of the weather. My three points I wish I knew before I cruised and booked the family room: 1- the family state rooms are either at the very front of the ship or the very rear. Our ...

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

Well, we survived our first cruise on Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas. We had a good time. The ship was beautiful but is starting to show it's age. The food was good, it was not as good (to us) as some people told us it was. Return cruisers said the food was not the same quality or type that they received last year on this ship. Could have been due to a lot of kids wasting food, I don't ...

Decent trip to Bahamas

Overall: We had cruised a total of 7 times in the past, on Carnival, Celebrity, and larger ships of Royal Caribbean, including a trip on EOS in 2007, so we had a pretty good understanding of the mid-market cruise experience. I consider RCCL above average among all cruise lines and EOS right about average among all the RCCL ships. This trip didn't change my opinion. The promenade feature on many ...

This is our 7th cruise, and my sister and her family's second one. Departing from New York was very easy; the dock was easy to find (much easier than NJ's Port Liberty), and parking was a breeze. My partner and I booked a penthouse, my sister, a balcony and my 2 teen nephews in inside. At check in, since we were in a penthouse, we were asked to wait in a "VIP" lounge (which was not so VIP) to ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

This was our first time embarking out of Bayonne. It was a breeze! Chilly due to it being February, but no issues. We booked parking through Premium Parking, slightly cheaper than at pier. They picked us up and took us back to car as well. Check in was easy. We had arrived about 10:30, did not board the ship till about 12:30-1pm so we had to wait in a waiting area. The ship seems to need some ...

Great Cruise

Please note that this is my 7th cruise, 4th with Royal and the 1st with a child. Embarkation: Surprisingly, embarkation was just as easy in Bayonne as any other port. The major difference is that as soon as we pulled up we felt that this port was "ghetto." Before getting to the port, the signage was poor and we had to ask several times where to board the ship. I also recommend bringing your ...
