It was a total rip off.

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

The ship has been designed to make the passengers spend on everything. The normal restaurant for all the passengers as it used to be, is no longer. Now they have 4 different normal ones and the quality of food is a disgrace. Unless you want to spend $100's for 2 people to eat in one of the many specialist restaurants, such as Jamie's kitchen where the lady chef came out to argue with us for ...

We were disappointed in our experience with this ship and the employees. The pool bartenders were the exception, they provided a fun environment with a great attitude but beside that the staff seem tired, overworked, and over it. Our room attendant was pleasant but other travelers in other parts of the ship with us had a very different room attendant experience. Customer service was a zero rating ...

Kids running free on board... no control while parents hang out at the casinos or off to dinner.. parents please watch your KIDS from 5yr - 20 yrs old. we watched too many young girls hook up for casual sex on the ship for casual fun,,, Two70 - such a wasted space ,,, no entertainment - empty space couple events a week,, but that's it...... no party in the center of the ship - don't ...

Troubled Anthem of the Seas

The ship was nice, but the ship had to return to Port Liberty in NJ two days early because of severe storm. The captain made a fool of himself two cruises ago by sailing into a Cape Hatteras storm that got out of hand. He was not about to make a fool of himself again so he aborted the last two islands for safety's sake. I did not like dining in four different themed restaurants. The ...

My friend and I were very excited to take our first Royal Caribbean Internal cruise. We have been through a lot the past year and we were very much looking forward to some fun, sun, and relaxation. We spent more than planned on this trip and to say we were disappointed would be a major understatement. Throughout the trip we wrote down the issues that came up for us and this review with be based on ...

How to ruin a great ship, add lots of dinning rooms, charge extra for most, add more reservations, provide lousy service, call it dynamic dinning. Be aware menus repeat after only a few days in the complimentary dining rooms. Entertainment, Mamma Mia, reservation was not available when we finally got out of the dining room, so we missed that performance. The other two main shows were not ...

These mega ships have added rooms but not increased amenities or staff. I have taken several cruises in the past and enjoyed them thoroughly. This is the firs time on one of the mega ships and discovered that there are so many people that much of your vacation time is waiting in line. They draw you in with water slides, climbing wall, zip line and pools but they are so crowded or not working ...

Quantum of the Seas was a Disappointment

We have done many maiden/ inaugural voyages with RCCL. We expected some glitches, but all turned out well in the past. Booked Quantum of the Seas along with our daughter's family approximately a year and a half ago. Prior to the sailing date whenever it was time to reserve something for the cruise I was unsuccessful doing it on line and with a RCCL representative on the phone. The common answer ...

We arrived at the port of Bayonne, NJ about 11:00. Our luggage was immediately taken and we were directed to the "suite" check-in., This is the first time we've had a junior suite and I was really looking forward to having the extra space. The port facility was damaged during Hurricane Sandy. The foundation and walls were fine because it is brick and cement but everything inside, gyproc walls and ...

A deeply flawed ship design. I have just returned from our Caribbean Christmas cruise. Everything about the cruise was great except the ship. This was our fifth cruise so we are not new at this. We have sailed on the Emerald Princess, The Radiance and Rhapsody of the Seas and the Celebrity Mercury. None of these ships had vibration problems. Our first hint of the problem was when the engines ...
