A big reason we usually choose RC is because of our Diamond status (those who pay for suites also enjoy.) However it’s became apparent RC is no longer valuing the loyalty this brings them. The Diamond lounge is usually a place where you get the added benefits of a quiet place to get a contintental breakfast and happy hour with free drinks at night. However, it feels like this is a bother to the ...
Overpriced for the value. We cruised with 14 family members. We drove down to Miami for the cruise. Parking ramp was very expensive for the five days. Parking ramp had no signage on how to get around, including getting out. Stateroom (verandah) was terrible. Bed was old and rock hard. Language barriers were prevalent with majority of staff, no matter what the setting. Some spoke the ...
Every 2 or 3 years we go on a Cruise. Royal Caribbean was always my first choice.
Last time ( 2 years ago) I had a bad experience. This time was even worst.
Food is not the same anymore. The amazing dinner that i used to have , it is gone.
The staff ( with some exceptions) was rude . The main answer was " Sorry , we can not do anything " .
Casino machines are old , some of then older ...
2nd time on this ship. WAS our favorite ship. But over all experience has dropped. Food, shows, ports of call, just was not as good.
Big disappointment.
two days before debarking my wife came down with the Norovirus or food poisoning. They didn't want her to leave the cabin which I understand why. They said the will send someone to help her get off ship. on debarkation day, and After 3 ...
This was a charter cruise for us on the Navigator of the Seas 5 day trip that was originally scheduled for Falmouth Jamaica and Labadee, Haiti. Thank you to Royal Carribean for switching ports to Coco Cay Bahamas after the reports of violence in Jamaica.
Lets gets to the good stuff. Getting on the ship was a breeze...literally. Almost no wait time in checking in and getting our cards etc. ...
The ship was very clean. The grand suite was very roomy. The service staff was great.
The entertainment was ok. Dinner in the main dining room was good. Had to pay extra to eat at the other restaurants on the ship. The drink package cost was to expensive.
I traveled with 7 other adults and we were bored. We seen a couple shows but the activities on the boat was not all that great.
The ...
Have been on several cruises, this one was the worst. Not sure if it was because it was a charted trip or not, but the staff was unfriendly for the most part. Definitely not the upbeat, sociable staff I have found on other cruises. Food and entertainment were average but nothing outstanding. Staff was not willing to try to accommodate guests. Again not sure if it was because it was the Cruise with ...
This was my first trip with Royal Caribbean, after more than a dozen cruises with Cunard, Carnival and NCL. I didn't have unreal high expectations however, after this experience, I wonder why is it that RCI is considered a higher standard in cruising?
My first negative impression came from staff members, whom I suspect are underpaid and in less than decent conditions on the boat (they can't ...
The food wasn't that great unless you paid extra to eat in the fancy restaurants which we did. We went to the Steakhouse, Mexican and Italian restaurants and the food was great. We were in and out in about and hour or so. In the main dining hall it took around 2 hours + from start to finish. There was a lack of night entertainment to choose from. One night 4 of us walked around the ship after ...
We have always been VERY pleased with our experiences aboard Royal Caribbean ships. This ship however DID NOT meet our expectations. Most of the crew was very professional and helpful but very disorganized and not very knowledgable; the ship needs a lot of work.
We did not have the use of our cabin for several hours due to a plumbing issue on our floor.
I have never taken a cruise where ...
