AWFUL: PADI service. We understand the policy of not serving kids under 12 years old. What it is unacceptable is that the guy from South Africa in charge does not help in contacting other PADI centers to facilitate diving to families with children under 12. “Go online and search” is a rude answer and definitely not a Royal Caribbean style answer. I would have given this cruise 5 stars but for the unfortunate boarding experience in the parking lot at Miami.....My husband and I got on very quickly (1/2 hour)....but then had to watch our luggage sit in the parking lot and not loaded until 6pm. LOVE Royal Caribbean cruises. Love the ships, the food, the entertainment and all the crew.
The food on this ship, I have to say, was just okay. Nothing bad, just okay. We've been on the Oasis, the Allure and the Quantum, their food is extraordinary, so I guess we're rather spoiled!

This was our 29th anniversary and decided to take a cruise since that cruise taken was in 1994 on Celebrity and 1981 on Carnival. The ships have vastly improved since then. This was our second RCI cruise, first one was on Freedom. Ships almost identical except for size. Embarkation was very slow and line identification poor.
