My review will focus on the casino aspect of the ship as well as my overall opinion of the trip. The Navigator of the Seas is in the Voyager class, and is similar to the Independence of the Seas in its layout. EMBARKMENT: Went quickly from the bus ride with only two passengers, myself and one other person from Fort Lauderdale airport to the Port of Miami. The check in process took less than ...

As Diamond Crown & Anchor members, my family has gone on many cruises, but we brought three cruise newbies on our group and we went to Puerto Rico for the first time in 33 years. Pros: - My wife and I got married on Voyager in 2003, so this class is memorable for us - We also failed on Navigator in the Med five years ago, so we remembered the ship too - It's really hard to get ...

A warning before you start: My reviews are long. This one may be longer than most because it was an 8-day, port intensive itinerary. I divided it into sections to help the reader find the information they need a little faster. Embarkation We left for Fort Lauderdale from Atlanta at around 3:30 am on the day of our cruise. Spring break traffic was pretty heavy all the way down there except ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We left from Fort Lauderdale and stopped in Haiti, Puerto Rico, St. Kitt's and St. Maarten. We travelled with my boyfriend's family (there were 6 of us total). My boyfriend and I had travelled on the Allure of the Seas two years before this cruise experience and absolutely LOVED it. You can't even compare the Allure with the Navigator, not even just in ...

We are diamond on Rccl; have gone on 7 spring breaks in a row with our kids and grandkids. Altho' we love Rccl, we were disappointed that the ship was so crowded, more kids than we could count. Many unsupervised. But more disappointing was that there were so many babies. We were in a balcony cabin with babies on both sides of us. We had to move from a wonderful table and excellent service ...

I happen to love this class of ship with RCCL. The shopping promenade is a nice stroll when you feel like taking a walk, I love the ice shows and the theatre layout. Cabins are normal RCCL layouts. ...nothing fancy, but okay. The ship itself could use refurbishment...carpets in hallways are very " tired" looking. There was frequently a sewer odor on the 8th floor in the hallways. Did not permeate ...

We were on deck 8. At 3 AM Thursday I heard the neighbors sliding door thump and got up to see what was afoot. Water in the cabin. I went OH S***! we're sinking but looked out and could see we were still high and dry except for the floor. The water closet between our rooms broke a pipe. I went back to bed after deciding nothing was going to be destroyed to the hum of vacuums. We were put out of ...

The service on the Navigator was excellent. Most of the issues we ran into were due to the age of the ship and overall cleanliness or lack of. When we entered our cabin the overwhelming smell of urine made us both gag. We spoke to our stateroom attendent who wsa fantastic and she said she would recleant he bathroom. We told her it wasnt the bathroom...the bathroom smelt better than the rest of ...

Traveling as a couple, have been on 9 cruises with Royal Caribbean. Embarkation was surprisingly easy. We arrived @ 10:30 am and breezed right through security. The check in line was reasonable and we only had a short time in the waiting area before getting on the ship around 11:30 ish. Headed for windjammer and had no problem finding good seats. We enjoyed the activities - especially the ...

Disembarkation was uneventful. Port Everglades is an easy port to navigate. We were onboard by noon and in our stateroom by 1pm. We were in a virtual balcony room #9303. Maybe it was just me but it seemed much smaller than a typical interior room. The virtual balcony was interesting, (when it worked). We had the problem of not being able to turn it on and off with the remote. They changed the ...
