Floating mall catering to kids in the North Atlantic

Its a floating mall with too many people and too few hours ashore at ports of call, The North Atlantic is too cold even at the height of summer: literally too windy and/or cool (or even rainy) to enjoy being outside for a good part of the time. Especially galling is RC letting guests reserve lounge chairs in the pool areas, when it was nice out, by leaving their towels and whatnot there as they go ...

We have been on Royal Caribbean before and have always found the ships and service to be fabulous. This cruise and this ship were neither of these things. The ship looks tired and dated and the obvious ‘cutbacks’ are the talking point of the passengers. On arrival in our stateroom, the usual toiletries have been replaced by a pump of shampoo in the shower, and a couple of slim soaps on the sink. No ...

We were looking to return to Royal Caribean for a much needed holiday. Having previously had a wonderful experience with Royal Caribean over 16 years, we were very dissapointed to join the Navagator of the Seas and find a ship so tired in many areas and in need of major investment. The presentation and quality of the food in the dining room also had a great deal of room for improvement. Our ...

we picked this cruise to see places we have not been to. the public areas are decent, but the cabins stink. the food [gluten free] is not really their best. in fact neither is their regular menu. it got so we had the waiter, asst., head waiter @ our table most nights taking comments to get to the kitchen [hope it will help future cruisers]. boarding, on & off are simple easy & efficient, we carry ...

i took a half term break with my three children on Navigator of the Seas,, I really wish I hadnt .This is a very expensive cruise line . Good points : Boarding was quick ,unlike P&O where you sit like sardines in the Ocean terminal like sardines before any security checks hoping that none of the people packed in that terminal have anything ticking in their rucksacks !. the Meat is always ...

Although the ship has been refurbished handsomely, I found my cruise experience to be below average. I have always felt pampered on the cruises I have sailed on before this one. The small amenities that I have been accustomed to on cruises I have been on previously, were not there. (Lotion, shower cap, pen, small pad, chocolate on the pillow, robe and slippers, etc.) The pricier menu items, like ...

Having done 30+ cruises, you would think I would know the score, but .... Arrived at port, all as usual, used the suggested parking method, which worked well for us. Fairly quick embarkation, pleasant staff. We embarked the ship and went to our respective rooms, we had booked two cabins for a family of four, girls are 16 and 17, asno amount of showers is ever enough. RC had decided to put the ...

Embarkation went quite smoothly at Southampton. We had outside stateroom with porthole cabin number 2624. Quite spacious inside with wet room for my disabled husband who uses an electric wheelchair. Noticed immediately the absence of toiletries in the bathroom however we did have a small piece of cheap soap on the sink. Also noticed we had TWO t bags on the dressing table with the kettle. When I ...
