1-10 of 83 Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Cruises for the Disabled Cruises to Europe - British Isles & Western
For our fifth cruise my wife and I chose a trip from Southampton calling at Bilbao and La Coruña, Spain then Cherbourg and Le Havre, France. The ship did not sail until 7pm, so I didn't feel quite as worried booking the overnight flight into Heathrow scheduled to arrive more than twelve hours earlier.
Our transfer to Southampton included a pre-cruise excursion stopping at Stonehenge--one of ...
Just returned from a short Stages cruise on Navigator of The Seas,
Found good and bad points on board, I will start with the good.
Embarking the ship was easy arriving by taxi we waited a short while, the were passed via security check onto check in and on board, only to find no cabins were ready very little seating area, lunch was served in the Windjammer which was excellent but this ...
We booked Navigator because of the varied activities advertised. There were 8 of us in our party - aged from 75 down to 18, so we wanted things to keep us all happy and occupied.
Having previously cruised several times on Celebrity, we had high hopes of this being better equipped for the two younger members of our party and, indeed, that proved to be the case. However it was definitely less ...
This is a BIG ship, but easy enough to find your way around after initial familiarisation. We chose to visit Northern Europe - Hamburg (OK, but not scintillating), Oslo (excellent) and Bruges (always lovely), since apart from Bruges these were destinations that we had not previously visited (we generally prefer smaller ships). We booked at the beginning of the year and paid just over £80 each ...
We booked our cruise with Cruise Village who were amazing througout the whole booking process.
We drove to Southampton & check in was seamless everyone was extremely helpful. Boat & staff were amazing. Food outstanding!! Kids clubs were great my 3 young children loved it.
We loved waking up in a different place most days. Particularly loved Valencia & Lisbon.
Our twins celebrated there ...
Its a floating mall with too many people and too few hours ashore at ports of call, The North Atlantic is too cold even at the height of summer: literally too windy and/or cool (or even rainy) to enjoy being outside for a good part of the time. Especially galling is RC letting guests reserve lounge chairs in the pool areas, when it was nice out, by leaving their towels and whatnot there as they go ...
Travel Agent recommended by a friend & cruise recommended by the Travel Agent. Brilliant cruise experience, no issues will definitely do it again with Royal Caribbean & this ship. Only downside were the onboard prices, the WiFi is not included & @ $12.99 per person per day is very expensive, the photos were great but again very expensive @ $19.99 for just 1. The Spa has fantastic treatments but ...
Honeymoon ... not that any staff recognised this. Having sailed on The Oasis previously, this cruise was way below the Oasis standard. Embarkation and disembarkation were good and fast. Cabin was good size but balcony a bit small. Sheets not changed in the 2 weeks we stayed but was kept clean. Dining in main dining room was excellent, food service was outstanding thanks to our waiter Omar. Mixed ...
PORTS: Good cruise although length of stay at each port too short; needs to be longer to make the most of each stop. Some of the disembarking at ports was rather chaotic, with queues of guests winding through several stair wells for some time Not great when the length of stay at each port is short.
SUNBED: the sunbed/towel situation is out of control. No where near enough beds for the ...
Boarding in Southampton is so easy and the staff are very informative. Unfortunately there had been an outbreak of norovirus on the previous cruise but staff gave us all the advice we needed for us to stay bug free for the 2 weeks cruising.
Once on the ship, it was obvious she was looking very tired and in real need of a facelift. We had a stateroom on deck 7 where the corridors absolutely ...
