This has to be one of my favorite cruises out of many over the years. Just a quick 4 day cruise out of LA. The staff were simply amazing, it was so clear they were very appreciative to be back working and welcoming guests. I believe this was cruise #4 after the start up and I’m glad RCCl came back to Cali. Only 1,800 pax and we were treat very well. Had a superb balcony cabin on deck 12 which was ...

This is a review of the repositioning cruise of the Serenade of Seas sailing from Los Angeles to Miami through the Panama Canal. The Serenade started sailing again in the summer of 2021 in Alaska. The crew boarded in late June, quarantined on the ship and started sailing in Mid-July from Seattle to Alaska and back in one-week cruises. On September 25, all guests departed the ship and the ...

We had four cruises cancelled in 2020 and 2021 so this was our first since the Pandemic. Everyone over the age of 12 was vaccinated and I was very impressed with the protocols. We have been on over 25 Royal Caribbean cruises so know the types of activities they usually have on board. The ship was running at 50% capacity so there were no big lines or waiting for elevators. It was a relaxed ...

My husband and I chose this cruise to transit the Panama Canal. We got so much more. This is a beautiful ship, easy to navigate and it has the best cruise director in the world, Steve Davis, who can make this cruise fun for everyone. Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance was the highlight for me. The energy on this ship is non stop. There is always so to do. The entertainment was varied and fun. The ...

We picked it for the Cruise Destinations, thru the Panama. Started in San Diego, loved SD, stay at the Sheraton (close to airport and cruise port) and walked around, to Little Italy, the docks, Dinner at the Fish Market. We love the Jewel, food and service, superb! Clean and not small not huge. Los Cabos - walked around, visiting shops, stopped at a cpl bars for Mexican home made salsa ...

My husband and I have been cruising with Royal Caribbean for years. We love the cruise line and have always had a good experience. It was my bucket list item to go on a Panama Canal Cruise. We usually take about one cruise per year but had never gone for more than one week. The Panama Canal cruises usually run 15-16 nights. We decided NOT to wait until after we retired!. We went on the Jewel ...

This was a great long weekend getaway. The ship is in great shape, easy to get around, there's plenty to do and the staff are wonderful. Our cabin was on the 8th floor and promenade facing but there was never any noise, those cabins are pretty soundproofed. Our cabin steward was Dolores and she was exceptional, our cabin was always clean and we always had fresh ice. Embarkation in Ft Laud was ...

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

This cruise started off on the bad side, the port of Los Angles/San Pedro, had the ship way away from all normal docking slips and had 4 cruise ships in that morning. LA Port is the worst ran port we have ever seen, lucky Royal had some tents installed to keep us out of direct sunlight on a very warm day they offered free water to the people waiting to embark. The normal process of going to the ...

We loved this ship and itinerary. The crew was the best of all the cruises we have taken. We live in California and it was nice to visit port cities we have visited previously by car. No restaurant or parking hassles! Cruising into San Francisco under the Golden Gate was awesome! We were met by whales at the entrance of the Bay. That was memorable to say the least. The major attractions are in ...
