Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

We arrived 3 days before the cruise so we could take our 3 year old to Disney and Sea World. We also took in the Midway. Three jam packed days but all worth it. Stayed at the Omni downtown and it was great for the $105 per night deal we got through expedia. If we had paid the #300+ original price, I would have been upset. Embarkation: Decided to wait until the rush was over on embarkation day, so ...

Ever since living in the Northeast for the past 10 years, we have decided to take our big family vacation during Winter Break in February. We have been purchasing 2 cabins in order to accommodate myself, my husband, and our two boys. In my lifetime, I have NEVER experienced such a disheartening trip as this one on Voyager of the Seas, February 14, 2010! I agree with many of the other reviews, ...

We arrived at the Port in San Diego at about 12 noon and were able to board the ship almost instantaneously. After a quick bite and a peak at our room, we disembarked to explore the area surrounding the pier (as we had a few hours before the boat left). The walk was really nice; there are a lot of great sculptures (including a larger than life sized statute of the famous soldier-nurse kiss that ...

We and very good cruise critic friends fought through various snow storms to make our way to San Diego to board the Radiance of the Seas, a ship we met on two years ago. Our original flight was canceled due to the weather so we had to arrive in Sunny San Diego early than planned. We stayed across the street from the cruise ship dock at the Holiday Inn. Our room was not the best and the shuttle ...

We said on Mariner of the Seas from 2/14/10 through 2/21/10. Embarked/Disembarked through Los Angeles, and the 7 day cruise sailed to the Mexican Riviera (Cabo, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta). We had sailed on 2 previous cruises, both on Princess (Alaska and the Baltics). We are a family of 4 (Mom/Dad/Daughter 11, Son 6). RESERVATION: Made reservation in November on a "Wow" sale, got a great fare on ...

Background: I'm a retired law enforcement officer in my mid 60s and my wife is a banker in her early 60s. This was our 31st cruise, all but 2 on Royal Caribbean. Our youngest daughter, her husband and our 3 year old granddaughter were also on this cruise. Getting to LA: The flight from Denver was uneventful, we expected a RCCL greater to meet us at the airport, but none were there. A quick ...

We had a good trip! We have cruised about 6 times before. This was by far the worst food. We flew in on Air Canada the day of the cruise. We took a shuttle to the port and we were on the ship by 1pm . Royal Caribean, Radiance of the Seas was a beautiful ship. It was clean , roomy, the service was really good. We didn't like the food too much in the main dinning room & in the buffet. We heard some ...

This was our first cruise on the Mariner. We have not been on a Royal Caribbean ship in several years, having sailed with other cruise lines. We sailed to the Mexican Riviera for a 7 night cruise. First, let me say that the ship, the crew and the accommodation were terrific. The ports were lovely...Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Our cabin was a balcony on deck 8, 8332, starboard. ...

Will present review as pointers. 1 - We are Diamond members. 2 - Have sailed Radiance once before and loved it - thus one reason we chose this cruise. 3 - Activities were the worse I have ever experienced - wait, let me rephrase this - the activities were not bad, but the scheduling of such were done with very little thought to the passenger. One example would be bean tossing at 6 PM - another ...

After spending the Saturday in Disneyland. We (42 of us in a group going for a friends wedding) headed to San Pedro for our cruise. We arrived a bit early at the terminal and saw the mass of people exit and waiting for taxi's as they left their cruise. After waiting around outside we noticed a line up starting to form in front of the doors to the terminal. After going through security we checked ...
