Prison of the Seas

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Vision of the Seas

This was my first cruise ever and I came in completely optimistic, but it was an absolute disaster. From the first moment I entered this ship, you are greeted with this musty smell of this aging ship. The smell would soon become the least of my problems as the journey went on. My interior room was okay but extremely dated. Everything was functional, but the antiquated look was very depressing. ...

Worst Experience EVER

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

PLEASE LET ME START OUT BY SAYING THAT THIS REVIEW NO WAY REFLECTS THE STAFF, as the staff was absolutely fantastic and VERY hard working (to work 7 1/2 months straight without seeing family and with no days off seems unfathomable to me). Positives - Our waiter Rajul, and his partner Jorge were fantastic, and I wish I had them with me on every vacation :-). Our steward Franklin was great as ...

2nd and last cruise

I have only sailed with Royal Caribbean and thought the first cruise was good but maybe not as great as I didn't know what I was doing and the weather didn't cooperate. This cruise was a nightmare. They sent out several emails stating not to show up before 2pm and we got there at 1:50pm and 4.5hours later started walking into the boat. Unfortunately, the 4.5 hours was spent in the heat standing ...

Imagine that you're returning from a lovely excursion in Cozumel and upon reentry to your cruise ship, your sea pass causes the crew-member to utter the scary phrase "You need to report to Guest Services immediately."This happened to me aboard Radiance of the Seas on Saturday, April 23rd. While relieved to hear that I wasn't flagged because of a death in the family, I was forced to process ...

Disappointed

I would never have thought I would be writing a review on a site like this, but I can't let this go by. I took my wife and our 2 teenagers on a Spring Break, Easter cruise on the Radiance of the Sea. I have been a huge fan of Royal Caribbean and have booked away from other cruise lines. I have always told family and friends just how much I have enjoyed Royal Caribbean on past cruises. Never again! ...

Mariner of the Seas - not at all relaxing

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

So we had just finished a couple of frenetic weeks in the States, seeing and doing lots of different things. We had a choice between some time in Hawaii or a short cruise. I convinced my husband that a short cruise would be an excellent way to relax before we went back to work. We booked the cruise through our local travel agents, we thought by booking a promenade room we would have a slightly ...

Not impressed by our experience on Mariner

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

I sailed with my adult son and daughter 4th July out out LA and am sorry to say that this has probably been the worst experience out of 46 previous RCCL cruises. Check-in was the only easy and pleasant part of this cruise, we arrived 3pm once the lines had gone down. We were given an Upgrade from D1 to J/S because of our D+ and were very grateful to C&A for this. The cabin was very nice but I ...

Ever since living in the Northeast for the past 10 years, we have decided to take our big family vacation during Winter Break in February. We have been purchasing 2 cabins in order to accommodate myself, my husband, and our two boys. In my lifetime, I have NEVER experienced such a disheartening trip as this one on Voyager of the Seas, February 14, 2010! I agree with many of the other reviews, ...

Great time on the Mariner for our Anniversary

We had a great time on the Mariner. Boarding we arrived at the port about 10am after a night at the Crowne Plaza San Pedro. Would recommend this hotel to any one. Had to wait until around 11 to get on board, we explored the ship after first getting on board. Went to lunch about 1pm was very busy but as much to be expected. Found a table first and then got our grub which was good for a buffet. So ...

The worst Cruise I have ever been on and worst Vacation Ever

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

We traveled to San Diego for the 9 night Mexican Rivera cruise. I should have realized with the check in and pre-cruise customer service that this was going to be a very interesting cruise. Having traveled on Disney multiple times and also Princess I was expecting great service from Royal Caribbean. The embarkation was delayed and everyone was waiting in the port to board and it was cattle call ...
