A most disappointing cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

The Holy Land cruise was prior to the following transatlantic, so we got a 'good feel' for the Odyssey. We've had 8 cruises on RCCL, 4 of which were transatlantic and 1 transpacific. We sailed Celebrity 10 times, 4 of which were transatlantic. Towards the end of the first cruise, we came down with a mild case of Covid, despite having our shots and 4th booster. We were quarantined in our cabin for ...

Awful service - especially if you're disabled

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Wonder of the Seas

We have been extremely disappointed with our experience on Royal Caribbean. We are a group of 14 people, sailing on the Wonder Of The Seas from Barcelona, and have had a very poor experience. My father is disabled and has an accessible room. However, the lock is dysfunctional and on several occasions it has locked him out of the room - even the housekeeping master key didn't work. We have had ...

Originally was going on a business trip to Munich, Germany. We were not really looking forward to the trip, so we decided to add on a cruise. The date of this cruise worked well with out other travel plans. We have sailed on Royal Caribbean in the past, but not on this size ship. We had a fantastic time. We were in a grand suite which was just a few doors down from the Coastal Kitchen. We ...

Must see Bryan James, Jeff and Colin as the Mason Jar Country Crew Trio. Best bar with Mike and Dolly.

It was our vacation of a lifetime. We had always dreamed of taking a cruise in Europe, and finally, their dream came true. They set sail on the Wonder of the Seas, the largest ship ever built, and were immediately impressed by its size and grandeur. Despite the ship being at capacity with around 7000 passengers, we never felt crowded or cramped. The ship was so spacious that we always found a ...

The ' Voice ' musical and the ice spectacular are amazing!

This is my third time taking Royal Caribbean Cruise. I found there are more food choices than my first 2 trips. The employee are very friendly. The room services are excellent, sometimes 2 times per day. The facility are excellent. It has a run/walk way for 0.67 KM long. I and my wife enjoy the " Ice Spectacular " and the " VOICE" musical very much. There are many swimming pools in the ship ...

Disappointing cruise

I chose this cruise to celebrate our (hubby & I ) 10 yr anniversary and I thought it'd be fun to celebrate on the newest & largest ship. I've sailed several times on Royal, each time on the newest and/or largest ship. Of all my cruises, this was the most disappointing. The service (cabin steward, waiters, & guest services) was 5+ star. The food, however, was not good. Based on my past cruises, I ...

Boring!

If you want a more "stodgy" cruise experience, this ship/line is your best bet. My husband and I (almost retired), were entirely bored the whole week. Mediocre music (nothing I've ever heard before), that was loud and annoying (not a single person dancing, or looking like they were having fun). Food was "OK", but try getting anything after lunch....nope. Everything closes. Entertainment.....ok ...

This was easily the highlight of our trip, we enjoyed it so much that this year again we are planning to go for another cruise with Royal Caribbean. The only thing that, i wouldn't say it was disappointing but not as good as the other aspects of our cruising was the food, the food quality can certainly be better. But overall it was amazing and the cruise, dining and entertainment staff were ...

So Many Gorgeous Mediterranean Ports

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Vision of the Seas

If you love a beautiful Mediterranean port every day this is a great cruise. The ship seemed a bit smaller than past cruises (which is good for ports and meeting people), and older, however, the crew worked so hard to provide a nice experience. Staff were always cleaning (the ship is immaculate), and our cabin attendant, Donny, was the best ever. He always remembered ice at happy hour, the paper ...

Expensive drain on your pockets

We went on the Western Med cruise from Barcelona. The ship is enormous, a bit like a theme park. But as first timer on RCL, (we usually use P&O), I wasn’t impressed. The food was a good variety and service in main dining room was good. We are vegetarians and there were several options. However, a vegetarian sausage at breakfast in the Hot Dog restaurant would be an easy win. The Windjammer ...
