I went with my cousin on this cruise from LA to Miami via the Panama Canal. Overall, it was fine, but definitely not the caliber of cruises I had taken in the past (pre-pandemic) with RCC. My opinions are as follows:
Cabin: We had a junior suite, mid-ship, that met my expectation for space and comfort. The beds were very comfortable and the veranda had a lounger, which was nice to relax in. The ...
We chose this cruise to get an extra 4 C&A points to boost us up to Diamond/Celebrity Elite for booking upcoming cruises. Also, we had not been to Catalina or Ensenada before, so this was a reasonable choice of itinerary. Our dates were constrained as well, so we settled on early November for this cruise.
We booked our own flights, and arrived with minimal time due to a 2 hour delay arriving at ...
First i want to say this was my 2nd cruise and my brother's 1st, carnival was much better. This cruise lacked things to do. I requested 2 weeks in advance to have it noted that my BROTHER and I were cruising and to have the best already separated. They didn't. Out bathroom reaked of urine the whole time even after we sanitized it when we first arrived. The hallways were so narrow. I had an acct ...
This is my third sailing on Royal Caribbean and I would have to say the food quality has dropped off considerably. First time with a 3-day cruise, entertainment was good - the main theater show "Showgirls" was very good, the entertainment team was mixed. Jessica and Monica were very good. Playmakers staff was excellent, the bar tenders made some specialty drinks that were excellent. There buffalo ...
Cruised on multiple cruise lines, been on 3 Royal Caribbean cruises including cruise on Oasis of the Seas.
I must give five stars for the fantastic activities they offer, such as laser tag, ice skating, water slides, and boogie boarding. The staff overseeing these activities were truly amazing, and the pool deck lifeguards and water slide attendants were friendly and attentive.
Our balcony ...
I'm not one to write reviews that skew negative, but because I had just stepped off a Carnival cruise the same day that I boarded Navigator, the difference in service and entertainment was striking. I've sailed with RC before and was expecting a similar experience and product, but the Navigator definitely seems like a weak link in RC's fleet.
I chose this cruise because it lined up well with ...
Sailed the 7 day Mexican Riviera itinerary on Navigator of the Seas. It was our first time cruising with Royal but our sixth cruise thus far. We have sailed primarily with Disney and once with Princess and Carnival.
The good: service was pretty good. I had traditional early dining and we loved our head and assistant server. They were polite, and on it. Fulfilled our requests and understood ...
Overall this cruise was well done—everything went smoothly, staff was friendly and helpful, food was well made, embarkation and disembarkation was a clear, simple and speedy process, a wide variety of activities were offered for varying interests.
Unfortunately, there were two instances that quite negatively impacted my experience. The first being, I attended a minute-to-win it event that was ...
This cruise was a last min memorial trip. We have been on 20+ cruises/various ships RCL, NCL, Carnival and Disney. Did Carnival same itinerary 2022 memorial and had a great time. RCL this was by far the worst cruise experience. Embark Day: prk lot 80% full but they refuse to let anymore cars in even with handicap they directed us to a lot blocks away and we had to wait for a shuttle take us to the ...
We had booked transfers from LAX to the ship through the cruise line. Our plane was late and we arrived well past the 1 o'clock deadline. I figured we had forfeited our transfer fare and would need to collect our baggage and find our own way to the pier. As we made our way to baggage claim, I was shocked to find an RCCL representative by the name of Bill, who said he had been waiting for us and ...
