We chose this ship and iteniary to celbrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We are experienced cruisers ,this being our 23rd cruise with RCCl and we have 31 cruises all together. We sailed with our group of 20 long time friends. We spent 3 days in London prior to the cruise and traveled to South Hampton on a privately charted bus. We found embarkcation to be very efficient which resulted in us ...

This was a back to back with the Mediterranean cruise. The ship was great. All the amenities we required. Smaller than Indy but that did not detract. We moved from a standard cabin to a disabled access cabin It was great to get the extra room for the scooter and the wet room The couple who had this cabin before had cleaned it from top to bottom as they were very disappointed with the ...

Great choice of food at Windjammer and staff always going the extra mile to make you cruise memorable, good choice of activities but not the best ships if you have children under 4 years old. Returned to ship after 10 years and couldn't believe how much the price of drinks have increased, cheapest bottle of wine $34 going to $330., bottle drinks you are looking at least $8 for a can of ...

Getting on the ship easy and stress free. Booked car parking which was right next to the ship. To stepping in the departure lounge to getting on the ship took around 30 minutes. Got into stateroom an hour earlier than first thought. Interior stateroom spacious. We had 2 rooms next to each other with interlocking door which we kept open most of the time which made the rooms feel much bigger. They ...

Ship excellent and loads of activities for the kids to take part in, cabin nice and ok for space for a family of four (just). Dining was excellent in the main restaurant and love the dress evenings. Love the main atrium area, very impressive and the shopping, I don't like the fact however you are charged for certain types of coffee etc, can't they just stop being greedy and let you have a ...

Independence was almost as expected

We chose this cruise for the late summer sun, sailing from Southampton (just up the coast for us now). It was our 5th time on IoTS - so we knew what to expect. Boarding was efficient as ever, and our luggage reached us at a reasonable hour. We had a "D" grade superior ocean view with balcony stateroom, so there was plenty of room to store our belongings and to not feel claustrophobic. Ramesh ...

The good news: - Fast embarkation - Very attentive and excellent service of staff in dining room and cabin - Shows were mostly excellent, specially the performances on ice, theater and promenade - Very clean throughout the ship - Besides being a big ship, no feeling of overcrowding The bad news: - Menu and food in the main dining room was pretty well the same every day. We ...

From parking our car to getting on the ship took less than an hour, superb. We had an Ocean View cabin, plenty of room and spotless. The ship is very big and we did get lost at times, but all part of the fun. The ship was so clean and felt like it was brand new. The food was top class, and in The Windjammer you was spoilt for choice. We didn't see the point in using the speciality ...

Although this was my first ever cruise, I used to work on a six star cruise ship so I know what to expect. The ships Is beautiful, very clean and well laid out. I think the outside decks could have better seating with tables for drinking/eating on nice a evenings as sunbeds are not great if you just want a nice drink and chat. Could also do with a few small extra special touches, perhaps a ...
