Our Family always cruise with Royal caribean, our favourite ship is The Indi. We choose the Baltic as we hadn't been there before on reflection we should have gone a few weeks later ( the weather wasn't as warn as we would have liked when we spent time at sea there wasn't enough seats around the ship when the weather was bad. the lowest time was:- We went on the palace, river and ...

Food and service very good. Main restaurant preferred as buffet restaurant very crowded and stressful at peak times. The speciality dining venues were mixed. The steak house and diner were good but the mexican poor(bland tasting food) Entertainment average 'star act's not very good. Cruise entertainers good but content not average(and only a few shows). Seating space extremely limited ...

Overall the ship was clean, the cruise director called Cuddy was amusing although rarely seen during the day. The activities were enjoyable. We did mostly on our thing at ports of call. We did a SPB tour in Russia, I highly recommend them, groups are smaller and the price is much less the RCI. We heard from many passengers that they were disappointed with the RCI tours, overpriced and the ...

Great ports of call, cabin was a disaster

My husband and I were wanting to see the Baltic and this cruise itinerary was appealing and met our expectations. St Petersburg, Tallinn, and Bruges were particularly enjoyable and not all itineraries of the Baltic go to Bruges, so this was a bonus. The weather cooperated all but 2 days, so we were fortunate. The dining room food was perfectly fine for us and the service was great. The food ...

We went to Russia on this cruise ship. My mum has a bad leg and can't walk far. It was very good and the ship was clean. We was at the back on deck 9. Inside cabin was nice with a good choice of TV channels, BBC World and CNN. Food in the Windjammer was good, me and mum filled ourselves up most nights. The main dining room was not all that good so we just went for the formal evenings. Crew ...

This was my 10th Cruise and 3rd with RC. I must say I was very disappointed how far RC have fallen. They are generally the most expensive so you'd expect everything to go well or if not, corrected PDQ. Within 30 mins of being onboard I'd had two waiters hassling me to upgrade my drinks package and 3 trying to sell specialist dining packages. This is the sort of behaviour I'd expect from a more ...

Very Good apart from the pricing of items on board ship.

First time for 20 years with Royal Caribbean. We had a balcony cabin on deck 7. The cabin was a nice size with ample storage space. An adequate but small shower facility. The King sized bed was really comfortable with a firm mattress, just the way we like it. The tv had few channels and needs an upgrade in our opinion. Charging for films was a bit of a suprise and was also unreasonably priced. ...

Pending refit

We had the last accessible suite available (1308), which was a good size but very tired pending its' refit this coming winter, with extremely stained mattresses and shower curtain - issues which were resolved after we insisted. Plenty of space in the dressing room too. Once the problems were sorted, service seemed vastly improved, cleaning to a good standard with particular kind attention paid ...

We had never cruised these ports before and it was one cruise we had talked about for several years. We were not disappointed. Navigator has a great crew and the ship is kept in great shape. The RC land tours were well done and very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this cruise. The only negative on this particular cruise is the same issue we have with most of the Royal Caribbean cruises. ...

Cruising is not for us!

We chose this cruise because my dad who has been on many cruises wanted a holiday after his wife died. We were looking forward to visiting ports in the Baltic. The good points: the ship was clean, the poor staff who work long hours away from their families were amazing, our stateroom with balcony was good, plenty of space, good lighting and plenty of mirrors! The food was good considering how ...
