We chose this cruise to get a taste of the ports. We had never been to any of the countries of the port and wanted to see if these countries would be places we would want to go back and stay longer. We went on this cruise with a group as a business trip. The food was below par, the buffet was the leftovers from the dining room the night before. The Saphire Dining Room meals were equal to a Chili's or Red Robin in the US. Definitely not getting what you paid for. Cruise was chosen mainly based on ports of call. All of which we enjoyed.
Embarking usually was smooth. Whenever it was time to return to ship, lines were very long. Cruise was crowded and there were always lines whether to eat, if you had a question or needed help at the main desk.

This trip was free for my wife and I-and I'm glad we didn't pay for anything except excursions and souvenirs!

it had been over 4 years since i last cruised with RC and over 5 with the Inde who is due for a refit later this year, apart a few bits of wear and tear the ship still looked good.

First, Southampton is fabulous for the easy of embarkation! Great job!!! So easy. We boarded early and it was about 8 GBP (pounds) fare from Southampton Central Station to the ship. Easy to get on and reacquaint ourselves with Indy. We had an inside cabin overlooking the Royal Promenade which saved us hundreds off the original balcony room that we had.

Ticked all the boxes including free drinks package when booking.
Not enough daytime lectures/talks (Lady who delivered talks on pop stars had a poor delivery style). There were a number of quizzes but the venues got so full that it was very difficult to find seats.
Great service by restaurant and bar staff who, for me, went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful.

We arrived into Southampton on the 30th September 2017 and getting on the ship was easy and very efficient. To get off the ship was just as easy as well.
The ship was massive with so much to do. From Football, quizzes, movies under the stars, bands and shows and so much more.
