This was our first ever cruise & we chose Royal Carribean due to their reputation. Unfortunately the reality did not live up to the expectation. The boarding at Barcelona was smooth enough and we were walking onto the ship within 45 minutes after our check in time but events soon took a turn for the worse. My wife booked this cruise, we are a married couple, myself aged 62 and my spouse aged 56. We arrived in Rome 2 days before the cruise left and had an amazing time exploring the Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Ahhhh... the food in Rome was to die for.
