I booked this cruise with my 23 year old daughter for a mother/daughter trip. We booked Serenade due to the itinerary meeting our needs. We previously sailed RC as a family on the Oasis and Freedom. I booked this trip based on past good experience at Freedom of the seas from San Juan to southern Caribbean. I booked the same room Ocean View Panoramic Suite (No Balcony). But the services I received in the ship is far less than the Freedom of the seas.

I have been on over 20 cruises with RCCL, I was always a fan of this cruise line but unfortunately no longer.
Pros - Excellent entertainment, the Ice shows and water shows are spectacular.
Embarkation/ Disembarkation good.
Cons - CABINS now only serviced once a day ( apparently new procedure introduced March 2023)

This cruise had the worse quarters for comfort as the beds were rock hard and the sofa was also so hard you couldn’t sit on it for any length of time.
