I had read very negative reviews of this ship ranging from dirty carpets to fetid odors. I found the ship to be very well maintained for an older ship and, fortunately, odor free. This cruise turned out to be a bargain and so was the airfare to and from Istanbul. I spent a few days before the cruise in Istanbul since hotels were ridiculously cheap.
