This time it just seemed like they weren't interested in anything but, "getting things done" not "making the experience great for the cruisers."

My husband and I like to explore when we vacation so we were hesitant to take a cruise but we decided to try it for our 22nd wedding anniversary and we're so glad we did! Let me preface that I have been on about 16 cruises. Various lines. This one on IOTS was definately the worst by far. I book RCCL expecting the best. I was on a Carnival cruise that was by far a better experience. It seems like the ship is under staffed - which seems to permeate every aspect of the cruise. None of the workers seem happy. In turn, they aren't trying to make you happy.

February 2013. We just got back from an 8 day cruise to St. Martin, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico, Haiti private island. I will be brief. Food in dining room and on the buffet was fair at best. We are not new to cruises or easily impressed. The dining and entertainment on the Independence of the sears was superb and as always the service is excellent. I always marvel that preparing and serving that many people in for dinner is accomplished flawlessly, but this year the meals were truly exceptional.
