We had never been to Hawaii and decided to take this cruise that left from Honolulu and went to 5 islands in Hawaii. We went two days early and stay on the big island and went to see The Punch Bowl and found my husband cousin on the MIA wall during WWII. The next day we went to Pearl Harbor. It was amazing and very emotional. We stay over night on two of the Islands. The ship was very maintained ...

we were in cabin 1588 on tenth deck. The Radiance has been done over and everything is so new in the cabins. The Embarkation was really bad but no fault to the crew. Disembarkation in Vancouver was horrible. Trying to get 2000 people upstairs using one elevator People coming on to the ship were coming down same elevator. There should have been security around to help with crowd control. But ...

Wanted the experience of crossing the Pacific and this did not disappoint. The embarkation was a debacle but once on board the staff and crew really delivered. Kudos to Graham and his entertainment team that worked so hard for us on the many sea days. Some of the entertainment was terrible namely the juggling firemen (more suited to a kids birthday party than cruise ship entertainers) and the ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to have a week in Waikiki and then cruise back to Sydney. We were given permission to board in Honolulu and had the best smooth seas all the way except for the Tasman Sea. Everyone was friendly the only member of staff I would have a whinge about was the Crown and Anchor lady, she was very abrupt with me but the people at Customer relations were wonderful Our ...

Flew from Houston to Seattle. Transfer to ship was easy and fast. The embarkation was easy and fast. Room was ready for us to occupy. We had a Mini Suite that had some issues but we adapted to them. The ship was wonderful, clean and in good condition. Our first 7 sea days were relaxing. The Cruise Critic had a great meet and Greet meeting and we met many friends. Being Diamond members and having ...

Excellent except for dancing

Food especially in Chops was excellent. Ice show was very good but we prefer to dance rather than watch shows. So we really didn't watch many of the shows so can't comment other than on the ice show which was very good. This is the only area that the ship fell down on. First the dance floors especially at Dizzy's were too small. People ended up dancing on carpet which isn't the best surface. The ...

Changes to My Time Dining were frustrating.

Terrific cruise to Hawaii. Embarkation was easy because we walked to the port. We heard there were problems with taxis. But we were able to get on board in less than an hour. My time dining was broken for most of the cruise. They now require a "golden ticket" to enter the dining room.some people received the tickets and most did not. This created a chaotic scene each evening. The house keeping ...

Exactly what we wanted and expected!

Exactly what we wanted and what we thought it would be! This was our longest cruise to date (We did a transatlantic a few years ago and other 12 night cruises) but we felt like it lived up to what we were expecting. Sydney is an amazing City (our first experience in Australia) and well worth the 4 days we spent there before getting on our ship. Our Bridge Climb was one of our "bucket list" ...

Absolutely loved everything about our cruise; so much so that I didn't want to get off and I literally cried on our last night. The first thing I will say is that the staff were all wonderful. I had read quite a few negative reviews in the 12 months lead up to our cruise so I was concerned but everything was fantastic. We did not have any issues. We had 2 inside interconnecting cabins on deck ...

Great Transpacific Crossing Sydney to Seattle 24 NIghts

We had a really great cruise with RCI on this transpacific crossing. We found the service to be wonderful with staff always attentive even in the buffet. The dinning table staff were terrific our waitress Rowena did a brilliant job, alway remembering what each person liked and if you were not fussed on the meal once it arrived would rapidly get you something else. Our table was for 10 and we ...
