We live in Spain and drove to Barcelona to join ship. We parked in Trade Centre parking which is really handy for the cruise terminal. We arrived the night before embarkation and stayed in the Eurostar Grand Marina Hotel which is above the car park. It is a bit expensive but really convenient for cruising. Emarkation was a bit of a disaster. We had checked in online, photos and ...

This was a family trip which was planned in Sept 2015. The biggest ship in the world was not a disappointment. While being very large, it was easy to more around and for the most part not crowded. There was lots to do on the ship but not much time to do things. With only 1 day at sea, we missed a lot of the activities. Shore excursions were good but the travel time back and forth to the ship ...

After cruising on Oasis in March and loving it we decided Harmony a must for us. Embarkation was easy and quick, we did online check in prior to boarding and were on the ship in no time at all. Knowing the layout of the ship made it easier as we didn't spend so much time finding our bearings this time. First stop bionic bar, we had great fun here ordering and making up our own ...

First time on RCL - just went for the sake of being on worlds biggest ship. Great mix of international passengers & age groups. Itinerary was port intensive would prefer some extra time at sea to enjoy the ship. Seemed to be over staffed in the dining rooms and public areas rather than too many passengers. Loved the Solarium Spa areas but Too many loud PA announcements gave us head aches. Many of ...

Ship: Being the largest cruise ship in the world, I was concerned with a sold out ship being a logistic nightmare. To my surprise, the ratio of staff to passengers and vast ship size alleviated any issues of the feeling of overcrowding. Tip: the running/walking track on Deck 5 is a VERY quiet getaway with a few deck chairs on the stern. Cabin: The inside cabin met our needs well with ...

This was our 5th cruise, the first with Royal Caribbean. We boarded in Barcelona and had a day to explore the city before boarding. Be sure to check out the Magic Fountain of Montjic. It is amazing. When we boarded we were surprised how much the Promenade resembled a mall. I missed the champagne welcome of the other line we usually cruise with. The ship is beautiful and because it is new, ...

We decided to book this cruise very well in advance (a year or so) to try the newest and biggest ship even though we are not fans of this size of ships. This was a Family cruise with a party of five, both of us (38 and 39) with around 16 cruises; and the in laws (51 and 65) and a teenager boy (17), for them their second cruise. for both of us this was more about the Ship than the ports of call and ...

This was our 6th cruise but our first since having our daughter who had just turned 3 years. We hoped that a boat like HOTS would give us the cruise experience we wanted but would cater sufficient for her and we weren't disappointed. We flew and transferred under RC umbrella and it made embarkation so easy. We checked in at the airport with the reps then jumped on a bus to the boat where we ...

I had read a lot of the reviews before I actually sailed and was feeling quiet nervous about the ship due to the volume of negative reviews. I can understand the issues that were had the first couple of weeks but was worried with the amount of continuous bad press. It’s about my 14th cruise but my first review. I decided to write this as I think a lot of the comments and ratings are a bit unfair. ...

There were 8 of us (4 couples) and having booked 18 months ago, the excitement level was at an all time high by the time we boarded at Civitavecchia. First impressions were that the ship was totally amazing, and was overflowing with WOW factors. The boarding process at Civitavecchia was a piece of cake, although there were far fewer boarding here than at Barcelona. We headed for lunch in the ...
