1-10 of 690 Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas Cruise Reviews for First-Time Cruisers Cruises to the Western Caribbean
Within hours of us boarding the beautiful Harmony of the Seas in Port Canaveral, the captain made an announcement to the passengers that due to the developing Hurricane Dorian, we would be sailing to the western Caribbean ports of Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatan, along with our scheduled visit to Perfect Day at Coco Cay (the renovated island is incredible btw). While initially disappointing, it ...
We chose this cruise as we wanted to try a more recently built ship. The overall cruise was good. No real show stoppers, but there was some concerns. Embarkation was absolutely perfect. We never stopped moving from our shuttle to inside the ship. While on the subject, the disembarkation was the fastest ever. This new facial recognition for those with passports was so fast I was concerned it ...
The 4-bedroom Suite on Harmony of the Seas comes at the cost of an average new car. We are not wealthy, but while on-board the Oasis 2 years ago I decided to take advantage of on-board booking promotions, and “blow” part of our kid’s inheritance by having a family reunion on-board the Harmony. You see, my wife Kim had told me “when I pass, I want you to take all of the kids on a big cruise, and ...
We wanted to try the biggest cruise ship in the world. We'd previously been on The Anthem of the Seas for a New England cruise and loved it. Part of loving that ship, was being upgraded on the first full day via a bingo win to one of the Sky Loft Suites. Amazing. Alas, I am reviewing Harmony.
This ship is huge. But there really is no bonus to being on this ship for adults alone. Families with ...
This was our first RCCL cruise, we've also done Princess and Carnival several times. I liked the cruise a lot, but probably will not sail with RCCL again.
PROS:
- The crew was extremely friendly and the service was outstanding.
- The ship was very clean, including the bathrooms. There were Purrell hand santiizers everywhere. There was a hand washing station at the buffet that you had to ...
This Ship is Extraordinary!
I don't have the words to describe this ship other then to say it is extraordinary, exceptional and simple amazing. This was my first sailing on one of Royal Caribbean's four Oasis Class ships which are Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas with Harmony being now the second largest behind Symphony of the Seas. Harmony of ...
I am a RC Diamond member for a number of years now so I tend to keep my business with this line due to the perks (which are dwindling) that go with it. My 2nd time on this particular ship
The Harmony, launched just 3.5 years ago, is a great ship. Huge. Almost too many choices in dining and fun. It mostly did not feel very crowded except perhaps the first sea day.
:"Grease" was fantastic. ...
This was our fourth sailing on the Harmony. My husband, 21 year old granddaughter and I had a wonderful time. Boarding was easy and efficient. We boarded immediately and since we were in a suite, went to the suite lounge. We really love the suite lounge, the two concierges, Jeremia and Elaine greeted us. We confirmed our dining and other items that we booked on line. Since we had the all ...
Having traveled on two other Oasis Class ships, we had pretty high expectations for the cruise. Let's start with the positives:
Embarkation/Disembarkation
Absolutely the best I have ever seen. We arrived at 10:30 after parking in the attached garage and leaving off our luggage with the porters. We absolutely no line downstairs, they checked our passports and Sail Pass, went through ...
We chose this cruise specifically for the ship, Harmony of the Seas.
We made the mistake of choosing a cabin that was on the 14th deck, in the very back, just 4 cabins from the very aft end. The closest elevator was approx. 100 yds towards midship. At 71 years old, that's a hike every time you want or need to go somewhere.
RECOMMENDATION: CHOOSE CABIN TOWARDS MIDSHIP AND CENTRAL PARK (INSIDE ...
