1-10 of 1,039 Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas Cruise Reviews for First-Time Cruisers Cruises to the Eastern Caribbean
Looked like a great trip. Had done all of the paperwork and spent overnight in Cape Canaveral. Hampton there was excellent. Boarded very quickly although the staff at the desks had no organization. Still we got right on the ship and immediately the troubles started. As most are aware you really cant book anything until you are on the ship. well our app keeps telling us to go to guest relations. ...
This is my second time on Harmony of the Seas, but first cruise since COVID. We were traveling with a group celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday. Our group of six people were between 16 and 65 and most had cruised at least once prior to this sailing. While we enjoyed our time on Harmony we did notice there were some things that just made this experience different.
PROS:
We had a quick ...
The ship was beautiful, full of great entertainment and fun things to do! The shows were spectacular and the comedy had us reeling with laughter! Getting on and off the ship was fast and flawless. Dinners were perfectly delicious and the wait staff was really great!
We would have loved seeing the workers cleaning handrails and common areas like they did during the Norovirus days. Glasses ...
Went on this cruise after postponing from April 2020 cancelled cruise. Tried to reschedule the original cruise twice with some optimism, but Covid didn't cooperate. Scheduled this particular date and ship because wife's family was going on it and they asked us to join them. We had cruised on Oasis in 2013 and wife wasn't a fan (I was OK with it, but times have changed). Well, we regret the ...
Embarkation was really fast and easy as was debarkation … no longer need to go through customs! I especially like all the activities they had on the ship such as the deck with a walking trail, hot tubs, the musical Grease, the comedy shows , an Aquatic theatre and the ice show. The food was fantastic! They even had a merry go round. The help (waiters, room service) were fantastic! For over ...
Long lines, apathetic crew, mediocre to plain just bad food, drinks are just mixers, dirty plates left for hours in public/common areas, first and last Royal cruise.
The activities weren’t nearly enough for this many guests. People sitting on the floor at trivia.
Got the drink package, always a 30 minute line if you want a milkshake from Jonny Rockets.
The cruise director seemed like he ...
HARMONY OF THE SEAS -----MAY 2022
ALMOST BACK TO NORMAL
Our May, 2022 cruise on the Harmony of the Seas was our fifth cruise on the Harmony and the fourth cruise since cruising resumed after the covid pandemic. The good news is that cruising is almost back to normal. Notable exceptions included: Ship staff wear masks, and there was no regular aqua show with an aqua showcase substituted. The ...
This was our 2nd time on Harmony.
Issues: It was clear that there were issues with staffing. We found long lines for Guest Services, Bingo and shops during “special sales”. Lines were long at embarkation. When docking in St. Maarten there was no one at the gangway to direct us to our Shore Excursion. At Cococay we had to wait 20 minutes for a trolley to the island. The public restrooms ...
The Harmony of the seas is a beautiful ship and the cruise was a lot of fun. But there are some real issues with the number of passengers which clearly affect the quality of service and activities. I do want to add the kids loved the cruise but they recognized the limitation with having 5000+ passengers on a cruise ship. This cruise was only 80% full and the staff and activities felt very ...
This cruise had the following itinerary: Depart Port Canaveral, two ocean days, one day in St Maarten, one day in St Thomas USVI, another ocean day, one day in Coco Cay, returning to Port Canaveral the following morning.
We have done several Royal Caribbean cruises in the past. The cruise was fun but not great, especially after two years cooped up due to COVID. This cruise was our second time ...
