Embarkation was the quickest ever - 20 min from entering building. Food - really average and sometimes delivered cold. Speciality restaurants were found to be better. Staff really good across the board. Poolside music could have been turned down a little to be more of a relaxing feel. Toilets - often found blocked and had to be reported to staff. The ship is showing its age and ...

I’ve been driving to Port Canaveral for cruises for the past two years and was glad to find a Royal Caribbean ship from Tampa, where I live! Embarking was easy. Disembarking was difficult and took over an hour to get off the ship once in line. Because of Hurricane Tammy, we were unable to go to Nassau and CocoCay. We went to Cozumel instead. For families, this was a big disappointment. The ...

Small, very clean, comfortable ship, you feel connected to the ocean. Weekend, value-priced cruise attracted all types. Musicians were outstanding. Food quality has declined since January when I sailed this ship, going to the main dining room has lost its excitement. Service and attitude were very good. Suite benefits were very helpful. The lounge itself is a plush escape and ...

Nice Smaller Ship

We choose this cruise for the destinations but where very happy with our experience on the boat. We bought the dinning package but wished we had not. You would think that a bone in ribye at a specialty restaurant on a cruise would be excellent. It is comparable to waffle house steak. Izumi was the only food we had on the boat that I would eat again. They really need to make improvements to the app ...

We went on a 9-day caribbean cruise with our family of 4. We had 2 rooms - balcony and an outside stateroom. I'll go through the entire cruise. Embarkation Shockingly simple. We set an 11-11:30AM time to board and it went perfectly. We parked at the cruise terminal, grabbed our luggage and walked across the street to drop off our luggage. From there it was a short stop to get our seapasses ...

This is my fourth cruise this year, my first on Grandeur of the Seas. My others have been on Independence (1) and Freedom (2) of the seas. Grandeur is a smaller class of ship, and that was both a positive and occasionally a negative. Let me summarize first by saying that it was a wonderful cruise with so many wonderful moments. The Good Don’t laugh, but the soft serve ice cream was ...

My husband and I have been on so many cruises that I cannot remember how many I have been on. That being said this was only our second cruise on RCI. Why? We live close to Galveston and I am tired of getting stuck at airports. Compared to Adventure of the Seas this cruise was GREAT. Compared to most other cruises I would give it a 3. Why? The rooms and the the lack of things to do on the ship ...

Anniversary and price is why we chose this cruise. We had some of the BEST service on this cruise we have ever had and we always have good service! It was very relaxing and the pillows and beds were so comfortable. Our room did almost have a moldy smell. Our room was on deck 2 and I do not think I would do that again. We had no refrigerator. The shows were ok.No real stand-outs and not a lot to do ...

We picked this cruise after having so many cancelled, that we wanted to to try something new. A new ship for us. New ports for us. Flying to a foreign country was new. A great price after all the credits. The stress level was new too with all the requirements between the cruise line, airline and countries. We flew out of Miami, and for those doing that for the first time in this day and age, ...

We signed up to join my daughter and her family. Noise factor in our room adversely effected our experience. Food in the dining room was tasty, but we rejected some of the cooked dishes because they were served cold. The server took far too long for the courses and was a 1 1/2 hour experience. After we complained they got it down to 1 hour. The trivia sessions were conducted by some individuals ...
