1-10 of 54 Royal Caribbean Grandeur of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Romantic Cruises to the Eastern Caribbean
Was just on the 12/10-22 cruise from Baltimore (BAL) to St Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St Lucia, St Marteen. 3 days at sea at each end. 3rd or 4th time on Grandeur (most recently March '16). Also Enchantment (FL & BAL pre and post stretch), Freedom, and have sailed NCL (3x) and HAL (2x). We prefer "smaller" ships (but have not experienced anything really big, so could be lack of 1st-hand ...
We have cruised Royal Caribbean many times with many cruises on the Grandeur. She is a small ship but as many people have often said, "good things come in small packages". Our March cruise was another excellent experience. We did have several days of rough seas but that did not cause any issues for us. The staff was excellent in their attention to "creature comforts" during the rough weather and ...
What a wonderful cruise to Bermuda, the Bahamas and then Coco Cay. The ship is an older ship int e RC fleet but was still maintained beautifully. The staff on board catered to your every need. Vitaliy and Vadym where excellent each night as waiter and asst. waiter for dinner. We sailed with our 3 teenage children and they also had lots to do on board with us or with the teen club. Our room ...
My wife and I took this cruise for our 25th Anniversary. We had a great time. It was our first cruise without our kids, since before we had kids.
The ship doesn't have all the bells and whistles the newer ships have and I will admit, I think our kids (ages 22, 19 and 16) would have had trouble finding things to keep them entertained. But for my wife and I, it was perfect. A nice relaxing ...
We have always enjoyed sailing with RCL. Even though this ship is one of the older ones in the fleet the crew did a teriifc job. Francis ,the concierge was terific, as well as John our suite attendant. The food in the main dining room as well as Chops Grill, Geovannie, and Izumi was very good. The Chef's table was an awesome experience.
The windjammer was good except for the scrambled eggs. ...
I just read the latest review with the above title, although they said the cruise was geared toward 70-90 years old. That is not true at all. Yes, there were not many families with young children, but hey, it was February and most children are in public school and Mom and Dad usually take cruises with the family when school is out. If you had such a terrible time, I hear that Carnival is the ...
Great cruise. My wife and I take 2 cruises yearly. I'm 47 and my wife is 46. The patrons on this cruise is generally an older crowd which is cool for us. Not a bunch of teenagers running all thru out the ship. We cruise out of Baltimore primarily due to me not liking to fly anymore. We've been on 10 plus cruises.
So with that being said we love the 10 day cruise because it gives us a great ...
This was my 3rd cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas, 31st cruise overall.
Yes she has been around for a long time but I think she is still a beautiful ship. A little worn here and there but overall well maintained. The crew is excellent and for a ship this size there were many activities and the shows both production and headliner were excellent.
The food was good and plentiful. Bar service ...
We just returned from our 10 night cruise to the Caribbean on the Grandeur. What a wonderful cruise. First, we spent the night before in Baltimore prior to the cruise. Embarkation was a breeze. We drove to the port, parked the car, dropped off luggage, and literally sailed through the on-boarding process. From hotel to ship only took us about a half hour. We found lunch in the Windjammer and ...
We are diamond plus members with Royal Caribbean having over 35 cruises with them. 1st time on Grandeur. We love the size of this ship. Very friendly crew. Embarkation was smooth and easy, lunch in wind jammer was crowded but food was good, we ate out at pool. Room ready at one, we treated ourselves to a suite and was not disappointed. Our room steward did not disappoint! As a suite guest we had a ...
